  1. Wow over exaggerating much, give me one game we have looked confident and controlling throughout this season?!
  2. Progress from what? Coyle? Wouldn’t be hard. Yet we are in the same if not worse position than when bowyer had us- another I didn’t rate. Has our team play improved under mowbray? Has our defence? I’m not seeing it, watching us play is a struggle. We can grind out results but will only take us so far, much more dominance and flair needed. Am I a harsh critic? Absolutely. But I want the best from my team, I make no apologies for that. Signings? Has he done well with the budget available? Again there is a target there. Every manager in Britain puts himself in that position, fans have every right to question. I disagree with just about everything you say to be honest
  3. You seem to be in the defend mowbray and his decisions no matter what. Do you not want us to improve and have ambition. Can you honestly say that we have played well in more than a handful of games this year, what style is mowbray stamping on the team. Why have we conceded far too many late goals. Why has he never really strengthened our defence in 2-3 transfer windows, being a defender himself you would think he would know what to look for Sorry but there is a target on his back and he needs to come up with answers, just plodding along doesn’t sit right with me and a few others on here.
  4. Sorry but we can’t deal with what ifs, I’d say a player comes over here should be aware what it’s all about, and who is to say he would be coming from a country that’s very different from our own, for example a Scandinavian player. Arguments against are getting more and more outlandish. Don’t think there is much to defend, it’s not ambitious to state on record we won’t be buying any foreign players in January. Why even say that? It’s screams of excuses for no new players this month.
  5. Sheff Utd il give you but haven’t achieved anything yet, boro have been number 1 for foreign market for years, karanka had loads. Pauli’s is maybe a different animal but it’s the weakest boro team iv known in years. Derby are only up there due to some favourable loans with the lampard appeal, unfortunately Tony doesn’t quite have the same appeal. We are fighting with one arm tied behind our back if you ask me
  6. How many foreign market players did we sign in the summer? I’d say it’s a fair claim to suggest it’s not a market he is interested in. Why limit ourselves, if they are good enough they are ready. Mowbray is just a ditherer when it comes to playing new players, we wouldn’t even have Travis playing had it not been for smallwoods suspension. Even reed had to wait. Brereton..... list goes on
  7. Not searching the foreign market, astonishing. Teams that have made it up with solely British players the last few years are few and far between, only one I can really recall is Burnley and Newcastle was largely British- all be it they paid top dollar for that, a budget we have nowhere near. Norwich and Leeds are flying with a vast sprinkling of cheap foreign talent. In my opinion the best defender is the league is Pontus jansson, cheap Scandinavian market purchase. Why we wouldn’t utilise this market annoys me greatly. No wonder we aren’t getting anyone, we have ruled out abroad, or lower leagues so we are shopping in champ and prem which is well known to be inflated, when we have next to no budget having already blown a wad on brereton from this market and isn’t ready- as he stated he wants. my scepticism on mowbrays vision is increasing by the day
  8. Aye if lambert doesn’t want Edwards I’d welcome him here
  9. I don’t think we are getting anyone, no murmurs and the noises mowbray is making seem to confirm that too. Don’t see the point of weakening our squad in January instead of improving it, mowbray, you and me are on shaky ground. Don’t see how your 3-4 window prediction is going to come to fruition if we don’t add to the team every window
  10. Worst performance one that sticks in the mind is Tom Lawrence in our last game I think v Burnley, missed a couple of sitters and I remember being truly sick of football that day
  11. Nyambe is ok, I would still like an upgrade though. Defensively naive at times, doesn’t like a high ball, is good at running offensively but gets in great positions and can’t cross or shoot so it’s wasted
  12. Don’t think it’s a daft question and as I said I’m not suggesting we don’t try and get up, I’m asking if it’s beneficial for the club long term. I ask because I think we are a mile away from being able to compete in the prem. yes we would get the money but who is to say mowbray wouldn’t splurge it on more breretons. I’m suggesting it may be beneficial to let us grow a team that might have a chance of sustaining a prem lg future rather than fortunately going up when we aren’t ready. Of course it’s the end goal that we all want I was merely asking if a season of being whipping boys, more dwindling crowds, fans unrest again might set us back rather than forward. A recent example was it derby who sneaked up one year with billy Davies, gave out big contracts to sustain the dream, didn’t work and it actually set them back from where they were. I can see it happening to Fulham this year. Someone mentioned Huddersfield but they aren’t in a good situation just now, I wouldn’t tip them to bounce back next year
  13. Genuine question- how would folk feel about going up at the end of this season- not that it’s remotely likely but if we were to sneak into the playoffs and defy odds to creep up, I would be worried that we would be cannon fodder which would set us back instead of up. I’d prefer a steady progress so that we are prepared if we ever do make it to the promised lands. Not saying we shouldn’t be looking to finish as high as possible I would just be worried of the state we would be in after a season of being battered
  14. Mulgrew in the left back position in the tougher games, bell for when we are attacking/chasing
  15. Marshall resigned with millwall so that one can be put to bed
  16. What’s torture is that sky sports centre- I don’t have bt- have bloody I have been stopped from posting this by moderators. coyle commenting on the match. Blood boil much
  17. Graham was worth his contract, we would all be raging had he been allowed to leave for Bolton and they were in our position and we in theirs. That being said I think the majority of fans realised that he should have been a cover player to an established and progressive striker we signed in the summer, brereton wasn’t the right option. I do worry that in a years time we are still relying on a declining graham and he just won’t be up to it. He should always be given respect and appreciation from rovers fans for staying with us and all he has gave to the club, he also speaks very highly of us and I believe that to be a true opinion of his.
  18. Think he was pretty accurate to be honest, maybe disagree with a couple of points. i thought nuttall played well today my issue would be can he score a normal strikers goal like how is he in a 1 v 1, can he score outside the box or does all his goal come from scrappy play like set pieces, cut backs. That’s all iv seen him score. Maybe I’m wrong though and there is that string to his bow, I just haven’t seen it
