  1. Looks like Birmingham were Better team but we bodged up a smash and grab as usual. Dack should be burying that chance at the end
  2. Have been one of mowbrays biggest critics, more for the brand of football than the results, but the points made by himself were refreshing. I just hope he does as he says as he does have a history of telling us one thing and we lap it up and he does another. He sounds like he pretty much knew where the criticisms would come from and tackled them before they were raised. i do wish someone had raised our fullback situation, who was def leaving in the summer, such as Conway and what was the plan with rodwell. I don’t want him at cb but I’d have him as centre mid. Maybe somebody to question our fitness and late concede record too
  3. I don’t really agree with this assessment to be honest, I don’t think we are a good side and we start horrifically slow. We scored a few good goals on the break last year, such as dacks v pboro, but this year not so much
  4. Karanka is a yes from me, can punt Ben for a second time
  5. Hard to argue with that imo. those, like myself, who are swayed or swaying over to the time for a change have very valid points for wanting to. Not like it’s a sudden knee jerk reaction, built up over time. Our performances in a whole since mowbray came haven’t been good enough. Promotion from league 1 doesn’t give you the keys to the city
  6. Think your taking a bit of a leap by stating these points were what mowbray was saying in the interview, maybe that’s what you wanted to hear. I certainly would be glad to have him say it but he didn’t actually mention anything that your stating here, all guesswork
  7. Graham has been a great signing for the club, and believe me I do appreciate him but these days he is no longer a top champ striker. He never was the quickest but he is even less mobile these days. And he should’ve buried that chance, went with the wrong foot. Again I appreciate dack, love when he is on song but too often he looks disinterested and tries to beat three men himself before losing the ball. There was an instance today where he just plainly kicked it right out of play. I feel that we are over reliant on him, off song then we struggle. If we have to sell for the good of the team and get 2-3 game changers in off the back of his fee then that’s what I would do. We need to have a stronger all round unit than individuals
  8. I’d defo take rowett over Tony. Wagner/ jokanovic/ Hughes would be number 1s tho
  9. Sad to say I will be quite happy to see a few of the squad leave so they are no longer a consideration for mowbray, in that camp williams smallwood conway mulgrew evans some thoughts on others graham- doesn’t have another season as starter in him, one more season as a sub. dack- isn’t a prem player, if we get a ridiculous offer in I would sell. Has moments but nowhere near consistent enough. Raya- had a good game today but I’m yet to be wholly convinced, still makes daft mistakes that should be stamped out by now. Wholly to blame for our Birmingham collapse. Brereton and Armstrong need to be taken off wing duties and be allowed to play in their actual position, not fair on them. Overall our team looks helluva small, in the tunnel before the game it looked like men vs a schoolboy team. Need some more monsters brought in. I wasn’t a fan of him at the time but I’d happily take Andy Todd right now
  10. Just as well we didn’t go for the easy 3 points at reading and instead rested our big players for this huge performance today. Phew. What a manager. More and more are starting to see what iv been saying for a long time now.
  11. He isn’t great but he can cross, can’t think of anyone on our team who is actually good at it. He put in a great cross in the first half and I’m pretty sure he has a few assists with crosses this season with dack getting on a few. Pretty sure
  12. Nyambe is our best rb, if he needs to get Bennett in then it should be ahead of brereton in right wing
  13. I’m not bells biggest fan but he is better than Williams. Had he been on he would have had the pace to deal with fletcher going through. Both need to be moved on and a proper no nonsense lb brought in
  14. Think Mulgrew is done now, was made to look like a show pony last year against weaker opposition but poor season this one, only saved by a few goals. But we pay him to be a defender, which he is no longer at the level to play there. Sack him off back to Scotland to see out his later years
  15. Just as well we play great passing football. Just as well we didn’t strengthen areas in January. Ahhh but mowbray got us promoted and we aren’t getting relegated. Let’s keep him then
  16. Rodwell ain’t a cb, dives in and always looks like a booking is near. Really think he might get a red here
  17. And as I said mowbray should be walking at end of the season , anybody who still defends him needs to wake up and smell the roses
  18. Commentator asking can we test the players playing in an unfamiliar role at wing back. No, no we can’t because we don’t actually have wingers
  19. Hahahaha as Williams lofts it deep into no mans land, sky commentators again saying it’s not like mowbrays teams, he is known to get it down and play good football, everyone we are on tv and every time I laugh, complete lies.
  20. Sam hart on show v Pompey just now, left just say he isn’t the answer to the Williams/ bell problem
  21. How many top 10 champ teams would be after mowbray should they move their current man out? I can tell you none. I get that he gets kudos from rovers fans for getting us promoted but so did souness and before he jumped ship I remember thinking his time was up here despite getting us up and winning us silverware. Put it another way had we survived a few seasons back, and Mowbray had is languishing bottom half of the table the last few years wouldn’t fans be asking for a change to push us on. Top champ teams are hiring progressive managers like Bielsa, farka, santo, Wagner to take them to the next level, we should be thinking the same. It’s a gamble of course it is but I’m happy to take it
  22. Not educating you on the history of mowbrays career, look it up for yourself. Think too many draws in first relegated season instead of going for 3, think taking foot of the peddle instead of going for the title lg 1, think not pushing hard for playoffs this season, think transfer record, players playing out of position, late collapses, defence not rectified, too many contracts handed out to players not good enough, Williams and Smallwood, strange lineups and tactics,,, to name but a few. Open your eyes man
  23. Mowbray earner the right to this season and money to build his team, done what was needed last season, not brilliant but pass marks. Imo he hasn’t influenced this team this season anywhere near enough as he should’ve. I laugh every time I hear a commentator say he is known for attractive football, utter cosh. Eyebrows were raised with handing out contacts like sweets and I think it’s been justified with a number of them undeserving. Transfer markets have been nothing short of a shambles. Team selection and tactics highly questionable. His history cannot be ignored either, more blots than successes. I don’t for one minute think he will go anytime soon, he seems to have won the venkys over. I think he should be and get a Hughes or a Wagner in. I understand people are worried if we got rid who venkys would bring in after recent appointments but I don’t see a promotion push next year, I see more of the same and I’d rather gamble than stagnate
  24. If your happy to continue as we are your the mental one I’m afraid. Lessons not learned will continue to hurt us. Your like a domestic abuse partner, scared to give up what we have in case it’s not better. Dream a little. Mowbray has made more blemishes than good imo
