  1. Rovers: Kaminski, Rankin-Costello, Lenihan (c), Harwood-Bellis, Douglas, Buckley, Trybull, Dack, Gallagher, Dolan, Brereton. Substitutes: Pears, Nyambe, Johnson, Downing, Rothwell, Elliott, Bell, Travis, Evans. MEIN GOTT!! Hast du eine Schnupfuhl? This looks mighty similar to last time out...
  2. Very underrated player IMO - ok he can be a lumbering lump at times, but sometimes a young side needs an experienced head to bring a little bit of steel to an otherwise chaotic system.
  3. Another baffling result tonight, no doubt. More baffling will his decision to change a winning formula and start with all kinds of pegs in the wrong shaped holes. Cue the Tombola... Ready... FIRE!..... erm... aim?
  4. 2-0 Rovers in 25 mins. Look very assured and together. Pike is tearing their left back a new one. Nolan cool as a cucumber in front of goal.
  5. It's the reverse of Tuckman's model here...We have gone from Unconscious Competence to Unconscious Incompetence in our style of play (i.e. the opposite of what normally happens in teams), almost as if someone was doing it on purpose.... I'm pretty sure we (the fans) aren't doing this (toilet planking) to ourselves... Millwall 2 Rovers heads down the bog, again...
  6. A brand new development of the scale and quality being vaguely hinted at by the shysters would be a considerable time from the planning approval to completion, even without taking into account the need to clear the existing site and prepare the ground for the new build. A lot longer than the close season. Which begs the 'elephant in the room's question about "where are the players supposed to train in the interim?" Perhapsthats the real reason they've been destroying the Ewood pitch (what's left of it) since January - to get used to the loss of Brockhall... What a crock. Now would be a good time for one of those fly-by jobs with a pointed message for the cheats, liars, crooks and gurning incoherent ones to feck off, trailing behind for all to see... What a shame they've been able to cook up this obvious scam behind closed doors, with no one on their case at the home of association football.
  7. My god you sound completely disconnected from the ordinary fan. Your posts regularly suggest you have an agenda to protect the interests of the cosseted ones around Blackburn Rovers. Why don't you keep it in your pants and stop trying to rub others' noses in the abject indecency that has become the norm around Ewood, eh? Unless it is you, Tony's crony?? 😉 Back on topic - 0-1 to Rovers, with 2 players sent off in a bad tempered game.
  8. Please can we have a whip round, and organise a snap game against United? That's what I would call 'Crowd Funding' with a purpose... Better times, I'm afraid 😉
  9. That is the kind of clear, incisive and enlightening analysis that makes the journey on to this message board worthwhile. Thank you for laying out the reality of the situation, that no-one (not even TM) can argue isn't an appalling indictment of the current regime.
  10. We don't see any leadership on the field. The side is completely devoid of character and it is like the players are surprised (and somewhat disturbed) when the ball comes to them, except perhaps young Dolan, who still has a hint of initiative about him. But we don't see cohesion, we don't see communication, we don't see passion, we don't see much in the way of team-work. We just see a relentless adherence to Tony's weird plan - and we all know now for sure that TM is at least one cone short of a training session. We will be lucky to avoid relegation and as it stands we may be in a situation where we need other teams to be even more inept than our own to stave off the realistic proposition that it might happen. Un-fooking believable.
  11. You remind me of a girl in the first year at University, who was a 'committed born again Christian' - she was adamant that the world was created by God 6000 years ago, and the dinosaur bones had been placed in the rocks to give humans something to look at.
  12. Remember in school, when the bigger lad could always hold your head down the toilet (if he wanted to...)
  13. This is how much I care about the game against Reading.. ..I actually thought it was tomorrow evening... Maybe I'd have been better off tuning in then?
  14. Brad was a keeper. Steele was a stealer... Oh, for a team with a BRAD FRIEDEL in it 😉
  15. Erm.. are you going to put your hand in your pocket to pay the fines that would no doubt be levied on any group gathering aimed at registering our displeasure? There's a bit of a lockdown going on, and the prospect of any groups being able to mount a meaningful display of dissent is likely to be outside the current season. Now, if one of us owned a muck-spreader, or knows someone who does, there might be a spectacular little incident possible, if it was to 'break down' whilst running outside the Directors entrance at Ewood..
  16. These owners couldn't sort out a drip on a toilet seat, let alone the dysfunctional mess that has been carelessly allowed to fester here. Damn them to football hell, I say! Scoundrels the lot of em. As for tomorrow's game, I agree with BoroBlue and Tyrone's assessment, that the lads have decided to 'play without enthusiasm' having lost any empathy or connection with the Gurning One, and hence we are unlikely to see anything other than a further reverse. Reading 2 or 3, Rovers 1 (late consolation for Dolan)
  17. Which is doubly galling and mystifying, as in recent seasons the positions were reversed. What has changed at Reading? What has changed at Rovers?
  18. I hear he doesn't train the team on set pieces. I hear he doesn't do tactics. I hear he doesn't listen to popular opinion. I hear he doesn't big up our chances against even the lowliest opposition. Question then... What DOES TM do for his wages?? Yup.. that's right... 2-0 Reading 😞
  19. Brockhall's 'sports ground' and football pitches were where the Academy training centre is now - I should know, as I used to work at Brockhall and played football for the hospital, with the Passerini brothers in midfield in the early 80s. Also my car bonnet got trashed by cattle during one memorable Sunday morning turn out. There isn't room for a new purpose built facility, and neither is the potential for one. Never was, never will be. Now, of course I'm not saying Waggot or his cronies are crooks, or that there is anything underhand at all going on here... Just like I'm not saying Tony Mowbray is a dishonourable charlatan whose weasel words are now poison. Same way as I'm not saying that the so called journalists dropping onto this site this weekend to save face are a bunch of useless sycophantic brown nosing wastrels. I'd never say anything of the sort.. even if it were true...
  20. Are you so blind you can't actually see reality staring you in the face? If you, and your mate at the LT, Sharpe, claim to be trained journalists, then for goodness sake have some professional integrity the both of you, and start asking some decent and incisive questions, rather than this inane drivel you constantly spout. IMO that is a complete abrogation of your responsibility as a journalist, unless of course you are being paid to spout the horseshit whilst telling the rest of us that all is well at the club. Some of us know horseshit when we smell it. Step up man.
  21. Let us not forget that this club (amongst others) has made Tony Mowbray a rich man. His treatment of the players, arrogance towards the fans and complete duplicity towards the loons in Pune are amplified by his continuing presence here, which is becoming intolerable for many of us. He knows it is time for him to go... The media know it is time for him to go... We keep shouting that it is time for him to go His cronies are shitting themselves as they know they have nowhere else to go... But Tony Mowbray just sits there gurning, spouting utter drivel, displaying the football nous of a spoon, and refusing to go 'until told' Now, if that isn't an intentional parody of Marie Antoinette ("Let them eat drizzle cake"(sic)) then I don't know what is - a rich person completely ignoring the suffering of the ordinary people in their droves... c'mon Tony Mariebray, don't you know THERE'S A REVOLUTION COMING??! Figure 1: Tony and his Facebook Fan Club...
