  1. Paul Young - Wherever I Lay My Hat
  2. Do you mean the dead rubber at the end of the season before last? He did ok, low centre of gravity etc. How is he getting ahead of the favoured Bucko though....we can't afford to keep experimenting with giving youngsters who aren't good enough game time. Tony needs to get ruthless
  3. Silver Bullet - 20 Seconds to Comply
  4. Those two things don't correlate automatically though.... So, by your reckoning anyone who is the best in league 1 in their position isnt worth buying.....? Dack?
  5. Which makes it all the more strange that he has not been tied down to a long term deal. Even if it's to just get a fee for him. Classic signs of a player that is leaving. I'll be shocked but happy if he's turning out next season for us.
  6. He isn't good enough for promotion and he has made too many cock ups and misplaced passes over the years to win me back.
  7. He doesn't flatter to deceive as he has never done anything of note in any match. Do you mean the england international and Premier league winning winger, Wilcox? When Jason was 18 he was dribbling past players in the reserves who had played for England and current pros coming back from injury...I watched the reserves every home game when he was a trainee. I'll give him a break when he's gone and is playing at a level he should be. National League....we aren't a charity and I feel he is getting special treatment. Why would any top prem club want him? They have 17 year olds who are better now.
  8. He has played 10 times and we have only won 3 of them. Wycombe, Coventry and Derby...all bottom of the league. I can probably look back over the last 2/3 seasons and find over 20 mistakes that led directly to goals....I was there, I saw them....we all saw them. Even the other day he sliced one and it led to a goal Short memory Mr Butty
  9. Probably worried that he had no proper back up in Bucko if he lost it. Rothwell is in our best 11, he's assisted, scored a beauty last week and consistently picks the ball up and takes the game to the opposition. He has credit in the bank and we forgive the odd poor game because we know what he is capable of. We cannot say the same about the Mr Buckley.
  10. Steve won awards for his pitch, we had the best around for many years. He was on good money and the Indians thought we could do it on the cheap.....
  11. Give it a rest. When Bucko scores a goal like Joe did the other day then he gets a pass when he plays shit. Joe can drift past players in his sleep that Bucko could only dream of doing....come on. Bucko hasn't done anything of note in his whole career to date. Mr Average in every aspect of his game.
  12. It's a different world. Its sanitised to death is academy football. I get the feeling nobody wants him on loan or he would have gone, surely. He has no real strengths that a league 1 or 2 manager might need. Chorley just got Willem on a long deal, perhaps this is where Bucko might end up.
  13. He made 2 passes in the first half to Nyambe and both were the wrong option. He must be a wizz in training thats all I can say. I know of 2 players currently 17 who are much better and they play in the nobbers 18s.
  14. Terence Trent D'Arby - Wishing Well
  15. We may aswell close the academy then. Non league player. His basic game is lacking in so many areas. Preston's rejects are better.
  16. Not sure about this. It took 5 subs to make the team look anything like against a bottom 4 team. This concerns me along with the contract situation with a lot of our better players. Nothing to see here, move along....
  17. When they sacked Steve Patrick, one of the country's best groundsmen for the last 30 years.
  18. How can it be irrational when he plays instead of better players and does bugger all....are we a charity?
  19. I find it amazing that nobody on this board ever picks Bucko to start, but Mowbray does. Clearly out of his depth at championship level. Is he Mowbray's illegitimate son?
  20. That was our best period in the game actually when Mowbray subbed the hopeless Buckley,Douglas and Gallagher. The first 70 mins was disjointed and without oomph in the middle.
  21. He is offering less than Bell. I would send him back to Leeds today...just punts aimless balls because he has no strength to hold onto the ball. Looks weak and any good opposition scout will see that. Bell looked twice the player when he came on, threatening their full back in a way that Douglas never did.
  22. I think it was more the poor performance. We got lucky. Against 4th from bottom I expect more if we are to push for top 6.
