  1. I have always had a feeling that the deal was loan to perm. Wouldnt say no as long as he makes a good recovery.
  2. Very impressed with that. Tosin - Colossal Arma - Superb second half Travis/Evans - Controlled midfield again Nyambe - Warrior and really coming on now in an attacking sense Downing - So bloody intelligent and rarely puts a foot wrong They were the key players for me today. Tosin on that evidence is going to be a top top player.
  3. Pretty drab - highlight for me is Tosin. So damn comfortable on the ball and can ping it around effortlessly.
  4. Ahh, feels just like home "Someone should have told Cocu not to open his team picking roulette until after Christmas. Dowell? why? what's happened to Bird being unused on the bench at Fulham, Sibley, Knight etc? This is becoming a nonsense. Talk about tinkerman."
  5. Nah, he deserves his spot right now after his last performances. Thats how it should be. Their shirts to lose. Put a couple of below par performances in and you risk losing your place.
  6. Its okay, I am getting my pre-match moaning fix from the Derby forums: Well that looks a truly awful team on paper !! No balance at all. Bogle looked lost last week when he played right wing and we only have Martin who can hold the ball up and he's not playing ?? Oh well just hope Cocu knows what he is doing ?????????
  7. Derby fans not happy with their starting lineup. Reckon we will do these now - please dont let us down lads.
  8. Yes, the whole thing stinks the way the two main culprits got off pretty much scot-free (apart from losing 6-weeks wages), while Keogh is sacked for gross misconduct. That incident has probably finished his career and he has now lost his last contract. If I were him, I would be suing Lawrence for loss of earnings.
  9. Ironically it was because he was being played on the wing and he wanted to play centrally.
  10. We need to ship out a lot too ideally. Smallwood must be finished here now, I do not see a future for Samuel here, and we need to get some of these kids out on loan if possible.
  11. Read that article last January. Just the same soundbites about we will try and get what we need but its difficult yada yada and if not, we will go with the group that we have got. Grinds my gears when he says, 'create competition'. We need a first choice GK and LB, and a CB that will push to be first place - especially once Tosin leaves. Also, who is this Tom Huddersfield that Derby have?
  12. On the Derby boards they are saying that Keogh could be out for up to 18 months due to the injury caused during the accident. This is essentially why he was sacked because the insurance would not cover his wages due to the injury not being football related. They did not want to pay him 25k per week while injured due to getting pissed up, getting in a car knowing that the driver was intoxicated and deciding not to wear a seatbelt. He will be 35 by the time he recovers (if he even does). Darlow is a good shout, very good at this level going on the past.
  13. The whole strikers on the wing thing has to stop really, apart from AA who has some pace. You could argue that putting BB out there did little for his confidence, so it seems pointless doing the same to SG. For me, DG starts and SG comes on when tiredness is a factor. SG is the most likely to be the successor to DG, so just needs to bide his time, work on that role, and basically just watch what DG does all of the time.
  14. Stolen from their forums but there is so much that points to a home win, so we will probably lose now. Saturday 7th December 2019 Ewood Park Ko 3pm Head to Head Derby won 41 Drawn 36 Lost 56 last time we beat them away was Sep 2014 Prior to that was 2001 so not a happy hunting ground for us. Blackburn last 5 home matches DDWWW Derby last 5 Away matches DLLLL
  15. It has been said that wherever Brewster goes, they will expect that he gets lots of game time. It might seem that Leeds being promotion contenders and Villa being in the PL, that we might not stand a chance, but would he be guaranteed the starts there? Leeds have two good strikers at this level already and is Brewster good enough to start regularly in the top league yet? As for Dortmund, he might just not fancy going to Germany. Whatever anyway, goals is not really our problem, its the other end that needs sorting out as a priority for now.
  16. They are very despondent at the moment. Similar to how it felt here before our recent bit of form. Similar concerns to with the amount of shots they are taking. "It's the other Bradley we need to worry about. He's scored more goals in his last 5 games than we've had shots on target."
  17. That goal doesnt happen without Nyambe's inch perfect first time pass that took out about 3 players and gave Dack the opportunity to put Bennett in.
  18. All I have ever asked for is a good quality mankini with Goodwillie on the front....
  19. While I agree that we are not overly strong in the full back position - we have just won three on the trot. Both players deserve their place in the staring eleven. We do not really have much option anyway. Bennett is a RW/RM and should stay that way and Bell is, as much as i want him to succeed, not good enough for this level. You make a good point about Hart, he had/has have a good haircut - so there is hope.
