  1. He looks a completely different player to the one that we currently have. Where is the pace, dribbling and direct running?
  2. Most of them are playing in the 2nd or 3rd division in Portugal now.
  3. He did look promising and he had been doing fairly well for Sporting in Portugal before we signed him. He came to us and thereafter his career was spent playing in the top divisions in the footballing powerhouses of Ukraine, Cyprus, Montenegro, Serbia and the 2nd division in Greece.
  4. Paolo Jorge (currently plays in Portugals 3rd division) Diego Rosado (currently plays in Romania's 2nd division) Fabio Nunes (currently plays in Portugals 2nd division) Nuno Henrique (currently plays in Portugals 3rd division) Edinho Jnr (currently plays in Portugals 3rd division) Simon Vuksevic (Now retired, spent most of career playing in Portugal 2nd division, Greek 2nd Division and the 1st division in mighty Montenegro)
  5. I wouldn't really class 'clueless' as an insult, not much of one anyway. Its like calling someone 'silly' or 'stupid'.
  6. Well, I was wrong, it was actually a whole 2 people - As Mr Wilkinson has hilariously pointed out on twitter. Twerp honestly went to the trouble of scrawling posts to count - all for a single like.
  7. Best own goals in the last decade? Seeing as we all have little to talk about right now.
  8. Fixed Yes many questioned the lineup but only one claimed he should be sacked for it.
  9. Spot on, the better you are placed and the better you are doing, the higher the calibre of player you can attract. We could have been buying some of the best players in the world after winning the league but ended up with Matty Holmes and Gary Croft. If we find ourselves in the playoff mix in January, we should definitely be using that to our advantage in the transfer market.
  10. I often wonder what Jal will think of Nyambe these days.
  11. I do feel that Buckley needs a loan to toughen him up a bit.
  12. I think he would be able to be unlucky to not get picked over Evans and/or Johnson in my opinion. i think he would be a direct pick alongside Travis. if Johnson was all that, a poor Derby side would have retained him. yes he has a great shot on him, is savage-like in midfield but Reed is the better player in my opinion.
  13. He was the goalie that Brentford sold to bring in Raya.
  14. That is the asset that saves him. Just having him in the side keeps the oppo defence from pushing so high.
  15. Of course move on lol - you agreed that it was right for Ipswich to dump MM. Wrong decision. if they keep MM - they will not be in L1 Quite simple really.
  16. A victim of the death of 442. Pacey, nippy little players in the Michael Owen mold that can finish are not suited to modern football. he has pace and can finish like he has shown - but he has little else. i am pleased that he seems to be progressing and developing as a wide forward though.
  17. This is the thing. brentford fans are delighted with his commanding of the box - as his performance against us showed. I do agree that Walton has a better defence but I am firmly in the camp that Raya is the better keeper. Put Raya with our defence instead of last seasons and he would still be here.
  18. no, he was on Skype with Roverseas for one of his videos i do love his passion but have to agree with Amo. Not seen many saying we were lucky to win - actually nobody at all Fans will always criticis a lineup, be fickle - thats football on all forums. Most have held their hands up - so throwing in digs like that is not a good look. he himself admitted the lineup made him nervous.
  19. Chaddy - before you did understand Ipswich fans when they want MM sacked. They were comfortable Championship team then. Punching well above their weight. They caled for the sacking of MM due to style of football and are now in L1. Now, you say you do not understand Ipswich fans, as they are winning in L1 and winning is all that matters at L1 level more than style. Why does style mean more in the championship?
  20. Distribution more for me and that was what some had against Raya - in my opinion Waltons is worse. not even close in fact. So many times he claims these crosses but he is never quick to release, get attacks going. Annoys me.
  21. Still not sold on Walton at all, seems very slow to get the ball rolling for me and he has lost us quite a few points this season.he did have a solid game tonight though - so hopefully that continues. Agree on Tosin though - that guy gets pissed when he has to pass it back to the keeper or lump it long.
  22. Fine margins - which is the beauty of the game. yes, Williams missed a glaring opportunity and for 10 - 15 minutes in the first half they were on top. On the other side of the coin, Gallagher forced a great save from their keeper and Johnson probably should have scored a second. You could probably say similar for most matches in the championship. We took our chances, they didt. We looked dangerous on the break, they couldnt break us down.
  23. Get us into the playoffs and we might just have our manager of the decade.
  24. Two very winnable home games coming up - I am starting to get very excited indeed.
