  1. He loses concentration a lot too I have noticed. Probably our worst player yesterday and really feel Williams could reclaim his spot once he is not needed as a CB.
  2. We are not really going to know until we get an extended look at him rather than just 10 minutes at a time. He did do well again I thought. A poster mentioned they wish he shot when he had the chance but I thought he showed maturity by not doing so and taking it to the corner.
  3. Mine too - snap him up! Those deliberating over the pen, yeah it was soft but in the laws of todays its a pen. Sure on the receiving end its cruel but we werent so blah blah blah.
  4. Havnt really seen any replays or anything and was looking away kind of when it happened, was it really a dive?
  5. Very tiresome. We are such a negative lot us...TM included.
  6. Pints on you then! Might get about 5 of them at todays rates.
  7. He did well against Leeds and today in the short time he was on the pitch. He does show a maturity when closing out the game and was very clever drawing the penalty...was hoping he stepped up to take it though - not gonna happen with Dack around though I guess. I just want to see more of him though, 10 mins here, 15 mins there...give the guy a shot up top. I actually thought today was a good opportunity when Graham went off as we had a decent hold on the game rather than being behind or trying to defend a lead. We needed to try and get forward and score with the oppo trying to do anything to stop us.
  8. Agree that Bowyer had the better squad but TM is a better manager. This squad has a better togetherness though and a never say die attitude. You can see it when a 5 ft AA is squaring up to and pushing a 6.5 ft centre half. Reed pumping his fist at the end when he blocked possibly their last counter attack. You could tell the boys really enjoyed this win due to the spoiling tactics of QPR.
  9. Was very impressed with Williams today, got his head to everything it seems and had a much calmer nature about his play.
  10. So, Norwich are now top? Where the hell did they come from? This season is crazy, 5 points separates the top 8 teams and everyone is beating everyone it seems. if there was ever a good chance to make the playoffs, it is a season like this.
  11. Best bit was the QPR players reacting to our time wasting for the last 5 minutes after they had pretty much tried to do that the whole game. Have to admit it was funny when BB pretended to think it was a corner and not a throw in (got booked for it though).
  12. Think we will win this, they are not much cop really. Freeman and Easy E look pretty good though, wouldn't mind splashing 7 mil on that kid ?
  13. Finished the half the much better team in my opinion. Referee is a joke though. DG should have at least one of his big chances. We played some nice stuff at times.
  14. Wait a minute, is this some kind of kids joke where you trick me into calling you positive so you can post it as your only example?
  15. According to Crimpshine and Pillipl (who you agree 100% with) - Brereton was not even a TM Signing but a boardroom/higher one. No we havnt seen enough of him to make a judgement of him - but that is not what people are really debating. We are not judging the player but questioning the transfer, the use of the cash, why a 7 million player is barely being utilised and when he is, it is not in his preferred position. You are entitled to your opinion just as you say we are but I do not get the feeling you do respect others opinions, simply because anyone that disagrees with you should 'Trust Mowbray' in an attempt to shut them down. Then you keep saying people jump on you, shut you down or god forbid disagree with you without quoting or showing any evidence of this. Sums it up when your first post of the day starts like this - targeting others: "Ha ha you won’t convince the usual lot on here Philip, I agree with you 100%, but you can’t put a decent argument with them, because they won’t change, I mentioned on here yesterday, ask the Sunderland fans what they think of Graham, paid 5 mil, scored 1 goal, but for us he’s been great and still is. Its all because of the fee, they think he has to start straight away, but while TM plays Graham up front with Dack behind he will have to bide his time, if he ever decided to go 442 put Brereton side of Graham, but where does Dack play then, going back to Graham he was 22/23 before he started to bang them in, but you’ve got to have patience, does surprise me the amount of folk on here who dont trust the manager, but mention that on here, and all you get is abuse, onward and upward and let’s hope for a win today."
  16. Debate is all about opinions young man, if everybody agreed on everything it would be a very boring world, let alone messageboard. Again you say people shouting you down and calling you 'positive' - who has done either?
  17. This is what a few do not seem to be able to understand. It is extremely frustrating to be shot down with the 'trust Mowbray' each and anytime you dare to say something against one of his/the clubs decisions. The man must be a messiah that never makes a mistake - he will be off to Madrid then I would guess seeing as they are looking for one of the best managers in world football. For the 9th millionth time - we trust Tony Mowbray has the best interests of the club at heart and is doing his very best to move the club forward. Does this mean that he gets everything right? NO. So he is not to be held responsible for signings such as Whittingham, Gladwin, Hart but should take all the credit for Dack? Sick to the teeth of being met by the same tosh every time we talk or question anything. Lets all hold hands and circle a picture of TM while chanting "Trust Mowbray FFS".
  18. Positive Stats Blackburn are unbeaten in their last 13 matches against QPR in all competitions (W7 D6 L0) since a 0-2 defeat in October 1999. QPR are winless in seven visits to Ewood Park against Blackburn in all competitions (W0 D2 L5). Negative Stats Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray has lost his last two Championship meetings with QPR - both with Middlesbrough; 0-3 in February 2011 and 0-2 in September 2013. No Championship team has won more points across the last five matches than QPR (13 - W4 D1 L0).
  19. Let them go but dont you dare let them come back when it all goes tits up.
  20. Its the leaves you are smoking that have me more worried. Especially this early in the morning . What you said was not evidence, just your own opinion or guesswork. We already know the mantra is young and hungry players, TM himself has said this many times in the past. We are all happy with this seemingly sensible approach. But surely there were other investments around that represented a good chance of doubling in a season or two that cost far less. You mentioned noise coming out of the club about XYZ, there was plenty of it. The lad at QPR, Marriott, another striker valued around 7 million that didn't happen due to wages (probably Gallagher). More so, it seems like very little scouting was done on BB and when TM says he scrutinises every transfer to make sure they are the 'right' kind of player, I would hope that involves making sure he knows a bit about where his best position is. He scores the most goals in training but is not good enough to start up front apparently.
  21. Quite a claim tbh, I have not seen any 'evidence' that we were given 7 million only if we spent it on BB.
  22. We were dog awful all over the pitch for that game and already 2-1 down and well under the cosh when he was brought on. This was his first appearance for the club as well. I would let him have a run of games being brought on in that position so he can be judged accordingly rather than just being binned off as a striker after possibly the worst team performance we have put in for a year.
  23. When we run out of defenders and Cfs because we spent the lions share of our budget on a long term project that could or could not come good in a season or too and we suffer because of it, you might be able to understand why people are a little confused. Even you yourself put Brereton in your team UP FRONT for this game if DG is not fit in the QPR thread. Even you yourself said you do not like this putting Dack upfront. You confuse your own opinions with those of TM, you dont like it yourself but will then not accept anyone questioning it or debating the signing.
  24. Personally would not like us to start with Bennett and Reed on both wings (is that even what its called anymore?) That is too defensive for a home side against a team we would have been aiming to finish above at the start of the season form or not. One of the two perhaps but even then i would prefer we went for it and did not show too much respect for a team that could barely pay wages let alone put a team together not so long ago. Reed in CM, Perhaps Bennett on the right, Palmer on the other and Dack behind Graham if all fit. If not, Palmer for Dack in middle, Brereton up front (not gonna happen), Rothwell and Bennett. Evans or Smallwood alongside Reed, then whoever we can find that is fit and able to play at the back.
