  1. QPR won 1 of last 19 home league games stat from Wednesday night commentary on radio lancs.
  2. Well chaddy if we get a home draw fa cup third round against a league two outfit I suspect the same will happen.
  3. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
  4. What they will say is that from a stewarding point of view if they are opening the stand they need a certain number which includes allowing for walk ons on the night in addition to advanced sales. Catering wise not all outlets need to open but as they have hived this off the club doesn't make any saving there. I fully expect the Riverside to be permanently closed within the next three years being the least occupied area on a match day. The same reasoning will be given. This Cardiff experiment is the thin end of the wedge. What they fail to grasp is that they are devaluing the match day experience for the supporters. The closing of the Darwen end for home support. The moving of the family stand. None of these closures has affected the bottom line. We are still losing 20 million a year despite these alleged savings. If you have pissed off a sufficient number who now no longer come because they can't sit where they want then you have defeated the object. For whatever saving may ultimately be made it's a drop in the ocean in the way the club is being run.
  5. No mowbray got his mate the job
  6. Significantly breaking the wage structure for a £30k a week loan was totally out of step with his cost cutting remit
  7. Yet in January we were looking to take on a loanee on 30 k a week until something happened to the paperwork no conspiracy there we are told.
  8. That's because they are not very good at it like everything else football related.
  9. With sheff weds owner pulling the plug on funds strongly suspect Buckos loan won't be getting extended beyond end of December
  10. Southend are back in court next month for their next battle to avoid being wound up.
  11. From the accounts the training ground money had not been paid as at 31 march 23. In section 26 there was a note about just over 6.2million due to be paid by 30 June 2023. With the changing goal posts in the summer I suspect that may still be outstanding.
  12. If website not resolved are they even going to be able to sell any tickets to walk ups this evening?
  13. Latest accounts. Item26 makes for an interesting read the sale price valuation of the training ground at 17.3million was on the basis of getting planning permission which it has not obtained. Club is paying rent and appears to be receiving interest on the outstanding funds Venky sponsorship money is outstanding and shown as a debt. companies_house_document_copy.pdf
  14. He's been doing punditry for them so case of the old boys network.
  15. As a long standing supporter I have no goodwill left to lose. I still go because I'm a stubborn bugger whose not prepared to let these feckwits drive me away.
  16. Watched Chorley v Scunthorpe yesterday. Scunthorpe were in the play off mix from league 1 in our promotion season since when things have badly unraveled. There new 'owner' from January has now put the club up for sale. Apparently had numerous names and apparently served time for fraud. They are subject to an HMRC winding up petition. The ground is owned by their former owners company who has put the ground up for sale. There is a court case pending over the tenancy of the club. Just goes to show when things unravel it can develop a pace of its own.
  17. Is the shadow man living in Alexander House?
  18. No problems spending £3k on bin liners for the upper Darwen end though.
  19. Think this is on the cards. When tickets were originally released for Sunderland they were initially sent tickets in the Jack Walker.
  20. Maybe a uefa ruling but it's only just over 2 years away. Pl and EFL with 92 clubs need to give longer than that for clubs to adjust when there is no definitive plan as yet.
  21. There is no way this wage turnover ratio of 70 per cent will be implemented by 2026.
  22. It is very noticeable how evasive of the camera GB is in the first part of the interview talking about the change in the financial environment compared to all the other questions he answers. Also he states one of the two keepers was going to go so from that can we conclude Pears would have gone if no suitable bid for TK.?
  23. Wages cut by 50per cent due to unable to train due to knee injury due to terms of contract but the contract related to the other knee. Unbelievable! Cost cutting started as soon as they arrived.
