Batth is out of contract in the summer but has been outstanding during his stay at Ewood Park. Boss Valerien Ismael is keen to hold on to experienced Batth as he looks to build on his opening spell at the club. Rovers also have Tyrhys Dolan out of contract but he seems open to other offers and may see what is out there before committing.

Are we becoming so polarised as a fan base that it's come to people criticising supporters who actually are getting a ticket for next season.? Just throwing ideas about but Harold Varner III is an American pro golfer for those who don't know and is a well known Rovers supporter (he was at a game at Ewood the other week) On his own not wealthy enough to make a move ("only" worth around £30m), but I'm sure he would have contacts in the USA rich enough to form a consortium.

Pity that, but as nothing to play for may as well take the opportunity to have a look at a couple of youngsters ?

City already have Schaper’s kid brother Astin who is a talented keeper. He is only 12 but has been with them for months.
