  1. Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets can't be beaten imo
  2. Rovers in talks with Batth over new contract https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25119556.blackburn-rovers-make-contract-decision-danny-batth/
  3. Blackburn in Batth talks New 13 minutes ago By Alan Nixon Blackburn Rovers are in talks to keep veteran centre half Danny Batth for a further season. Batth is out of contract in the summer but has been outstanding during his stay at Ewood Park. Boss Valerien Ismael is keen to hold on to experienced Batth as he looks to build on his opening spell at the club. Rovers also have Tyrhys Dolan out of contract but he seems open to other offers and may see what is out there before committing.
  4. Liverpool target Wharton New 11 minutes ago Exclusive By Alan Nixon Liverpool are ready to try to tempt Adam Wharton to quit Crystal Palace in a £50 million plus swoop. The Kop transfer team are focusing on the outstanding midfield talent whose passing could make Arne Slot’s team tick. Wharton has established himself as a Premier League player of real promise since his move from Blackburn Rovers. And Wharton’s ability to see the picture and deliver quick balls to attackers has marked him out as a future elite star. Liverpool are keen to land him and Wharton could be interested in a return to his native north west. However the snag will be whether Wharton gets enough game time to keep him on an upward path. Wharton has been frustrated by injuries this season and that has restricted his appearances in a campaign that should have seen him take off for club and country. If Liverpool can sell a plan to him, especially with Champions League football available, then Wharton may take the chance. Palace are already facing a siege for their players this summer and will demand a huge fee for the Dougie Freedman discovery. Blackburn are due 15 per cent of the profit over the £18 million Palace paid for their home grown hero in January 2024. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also admirers of Wharton but he has not played often enough this season to make those interests concrete.
  5. Cov down to 10 men after red card 13 mins
  6. The Georgian lad in midfield is missing as well, their best player by a mile
  7. VI wants more pace next season. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25113324.blackburn-boss-lays-transfer-priority-summer-window/
  8. 7 shots on target - 7 goals 😲
  9. Best thing Mowbray ever did was not signing this excuse of a human being ... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-66443355&ved=2ahUKEwjVl774rOuMAxVHQUEAHXOfBWUQFnoECFwQAQ&sqi=2&usg=AOvVaw1J9yswp6vn4V5Zw0Q2hvs0
  10. I believe Dolan can't leave for nothing because of his age but does anyone know how the compensation figure is worked out ? Could we potentially get £3m or so for him ?
  11. PNE sweating Only 3 points above relegation zone after today
  12. Take the points and move on. Crazy results at the bottom today
  13. Are we becoming so polarised as a fan base that it's come to people criticising supporters who actually are getting a ticket for next season.? A change of regime may be what a lot of people want but having a pop at fans who love the club as much as anyone doesn't do anyone any good. If they want to go next season then they should be allowed to without stick, we are all Rovers supporters at the end of the day
  14. Sad news. Although to young to have seen Mick McGrath on the field, I've been told many times what a fine player he was , playing alongside the likes of Duggie and Ronnie Clayton. RIP
  15. One thing today that really stood out for me was the work rate of Cantwell, something he's not renowned for. May not have been his best game overall but he didn't half put a shift in today
  16. Was in 2 minds whether to go or not today but glad I did. Yes it's to little to late but was really pleased with the performance, probably our best of the season along with Cardiff away. If the last 2 1/2 games are anything to go by maybe Ismael is finally getting his ideas across. Secondly, get Brittain and Tronstad signed up on new contracts
  17. Ismael's fucking blue and white army ! 💙🤍
  18. Young keeper starting for them today, let's work him hard please
  19. Not a great game on a poor pitch as well but Luton the better of the sides at the moment
  20. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25091675.blackburn-rovers-stance-ismael-shock-rooney-link/
  21. Just throwing ideas about but Harold Varner III is an American pro golfer for those who don't know and is a well known Rovers supporter (he was at a game at Ewood the other week) On his own not wealthy enough to make a move ("only" worth around £30m), but I'm sure he would have contacts in the USA rich enough to form a consortium.
  22. Pity that, but as nothing to play for may as well take the opportunity to have a look at a couple of youngsters ?
  23. Everton starlet on Blackburn hit list New 50 minutes ago By Alan Nixon Everton midfielder Harrison Armstrong is on Blackburn’s hit list for a summer move. Armstrong has been a stand-out for Derby County on loan and he could head for the Championship again next season. Rovers had lined up a move for Armstrong before the Rams took him. Ironically previous boss John Eustace was keen on another more experienced target. Now Blackburn are looking for younger players either on loan or for bargain fees and Armstrong is one of them.
  24. Man City want Blackburn babe New 48 minutes ago By Alan Nixon Manchester City want to sign Blackburn’s brilliant South African kid Camden Schaper - at the age of 13! Attacking midfielder Schaper is a stand out at youth level after coming to England with his family just over a year ago. Rovers signed Schaper, who already has a contract with Adidas, just a year ago and he could now be heading for the Manchester giants. City already have Schaper’s kid brother Astin who is a talented keeper. He is only 12 but has been with them for months. Meanwhile Blackburn are sorting out a new deal for young striker Joe Boggan who is entering the last year of his current contract and attracting big interest. Boggan, 17, is expected to agree terms on a long term stay in the next few days. He is due to make his first team debut in the run in.
