  1. We have reasons to be optimistic. Our defending has been solid since Eustace’s arrival; the bench has got stronger, with more players coming back; & Rovers seem to have responded better to Eustace’s optimism. I appreciated Tomasson, but at the end, he was becoming negative, and sounded bitter. Nobody wants to play like that. Footie needs to be fun, enjoyable. winning- and sometimes scoring a draw (for example, @Preston & Cardiff, & vs Norwich & So’ton) is much more enjoyable than what we were going through. COYB!
  2. Glad to hear positive comments, re: Brittain, Markanday, Wharton
  3. Adams & Smallbone, imo better than who they replace
  4. I’d say a good result- so far. Lots of work left to do, but keeping the saints scoreless at HT is impressive.
  5. You have the advantage of me; never heard of either one.
  6. All I’ve got today is bbc… comment was game delay, Szmodics injury it appears he stayed in the game
  7. “A girl like you”? that’s the extent of my Smith’s knowledge, I’m 62, therefore, more a 80’s guy, m’self (ha, Smithereen’s)
  8. Well, Rotherham didn’t help themselves, or us, today. Plymouth, gains within a point of us, ugh. We gotta keep that gap with the other catfish clubs.
  9. Y’all talk about Cup ties…I never heard the phrase, Cup draws. just saying. USED to wear a tie? I wore a tie to my job for 31 years. It was required Court attire. And, I still wear a tie occasionally. I cannot quit after so many years. Besides, I have about 30 of ‘em 😅
  10. Predicting these games is an impossible task, but here’s the matchups: Rovers (45 pts) vs Saints; Stoke (45) vs WBA; Hud (40) vs Millwall (44); Leicester vs Brum (42); Roth (23) vs pilgrims (41). If Rovers get even a point, it’s a boost. Obviously we need baggies, foxes, & Rotherham to win. Don’t count on Rotherham. I don’t want to see Hud get any closer, but we don’t need Millwall to get ahead of us. A tie might be best there.
  11. Why do we yanks & rebs here in the good ol’ U.S.A. not say, “bugger off”?! 😂 I’m going to make a point to start saying it more often, lol
  12. Agreed, we will have to find our way without him next year, but I am elated right now.
  13. I am elated. I want the old club to win 'em all, but to win, 5-1- a blessing!
  14. My mind cannot comprehend 4 goals Does not compute. Maybe in one month it makes sense for our side
  15. We’re already having trouble staying up with them. Conceding a mere matter of time…
  16. David Raya… I never understood the criticisms of Raya. Regular ‘keeper at Arsenal now, livin the dream…
  17. About as good an 11 as we could hope for. COYB!
  18. Yes, I can see an improvement in our defending, which has been absolutely wonderful, compared to our attacking. I see no win on the horizon, until Shef Wed. Maybe. 1-1.
  19. We’re not the better team; but, the score sheet shows we are just one botched goal-keeping job away from a tie today.
  20. Rovers looking more clever in attack, making tractor boys work a bit
