  1. Sorry I didn’t realise I’m only allowed to view certain topics… The collective head loss from you all on here about Wharton is tragic. If you saw other clubs doing this you’d think it’s incredibly tin pot (and you’d be correct)
  2. I’m an East Lancs lad and I think this thread gets increasingly cringe by the week…
  3. Well that’s a dreadful way to lose…
  4. Whichever of these goes through is irrelevant - either will get pumped by Sheffield United
  5. If we do finish 5th or 6th you can’t argue we won’t be the form team going into the playoffs
  6. This thread is getting increasingly tragic…. “Former Rovers player intercepts ball” watch 🤦
  7. No ofc he won’t be replaced by someone better. There are plenty of other things to worry about beyond the mismanagement of his contract. He’s a decent mid table championship player - he’s not a difference maker for getting you out the league - we’ll see where he ends up At the end of the day I’m not going to get particularly upset about Dolan leaving - a player who probably doesn’t crack the top 300 who I’ve seen at Ewood…
  8. He sat in the board room with Jack. He was chairman when we won the league! Now he’s sat there taking the dodgy rupees for 15 years without a single word… Doesn’t bother me in the slightest to call it what it is - collaboration
  9. He’s not good enough for a top 6 chasing team. As our plan is seemingly to get relegated, then yes he probably will be a loss. If we ever become a more ambitious club once again, we need much better.
  10. Cracking free kick from Rice - didn’t realise he had that in the locker
  11. I’m actually mildly annoyed we’ve scored…Tragic to get to that point
  12. Firstly, you’re so obviously on the payroll it’s hilarious. How much are you getting per afternoon/evening of spewing nonsense? Secondly, you clearly haven’t a clue about M&A.
  13. They’ve realised how shite we are and all lost their heads desperate to get on the score sheet. More professional and it’d be about 6-nil
  14. Never mind the Championship, I’m unconvinced Pears should be playing football anywhere on a professional basis…
  15. Yep. I mean you can see the quality (or lack thereof) in the squad. Comfortably bottom 5/6 overall. Just not good enough across the pitch
  16. Think the commentators described him as versatile which is just code for “crap in multiple positions”
  17. I like this plan that the fella in charge has spent all international break working on. Scramble to win it back and then ping it as hard as possible at that lad upfront. Visionary….
  18. Good on sky for immediately cutting to the 3 stooges.
  19. Laughable isn’t it. Just don’t watch Rovers games do they. Wouldn’t trust Pears to walk my dog, let alone keep goal in the Championship
  20. Have you not heard? To keep the lights on at Brockhall Rudy has started running a monthly meat draw (no ham though). Winner also gets guaranteed starts for the month regardless of form, ability or attitude…
  21. That’s now how M&A works (as a rule). Companies have an underling “enterprise value” (sod all for a club with Rovers reliable annual losses - different story if they bothered to get us to the PL), with that then adjusted for working capital requirements and net debt to get to the value of the equity being acquired. No one is going to pay them even a fraction of what they’ve spaffed away (or even what they originally paid) unless we’re in the PL which is why I’ve always thought the annual January self sabotage is a huge indicator they’ll never sell - otherwise the smart play is invest a few million to massively increase the clubs value.
