  1. We look so leggy. Going to struggle through the Christmas period with our total lack of depth.
  2. Ennis looks well off it. Can’t blame him necessarily, given complete lack of football Would like Leonard on fairly swiftly
  3. We're seriously lacking in quality across the pitch but nowhere more so than upfront. As was said in thee Middlesbrough match thread, JDT chucked Telalovic on to show everyone he's not up to it and subsequently he's been nowhere near the side. Classic panic buy. That said - apparently his birthday is 23rd December so maybe he'll get thrown on and bang in a hat-trick as we finally come from behind to win a game at Ewood...
  4. At least then he'll also have to take the blame when he reverts to £30 a game and 11k on...
  5. Not a chance if he keeps trying to play in his arrogant, Pep inspired away. Easy to do when you've spent 20 times what most other teams in the Championship have, not so easy in the Premier League. Best chance of staying up is potting him and bringing someone in who wants to grind it out, no chance old Vincent changes the style, far too big an ego
  6. Been sloppy all season but seems to get a free pass because he’s a Rovers fan
  7. I agree the gulf is as big as it has ever been and only going one way. However, I maintain they've done themselves no favours. It's an astounding level of arrogance from Kompany to think they can play the same way as they did last year given the overall quality of the league. Massive level of hubris on the back of buying their way out the league last year.
  8. Battered them?!? Behave. Was a close ish game that you might say we edged in chances. Point probably would have been fair.
  9. Either Travis RB, Brittain LB or (and think this very unlikely) back 3 of Hill, Wharton, Brittain?
  10. Yes - obviously just want to see us win every game in an ideal world. I'll illustrate my point - I think I know the outcome of every dingle game, key incidents, background etc since 2000/01. Whereas all the games against Preston (Jansen and 2017 relegation season aside) blur into all the other games we've had in that time. Maybe I'm from the wrong part of Lancashire (I don't know any Preston fans personally), it just doesn't mean any more than any other Championship fixture to me. As you say, I could be in the minority.
  11. Think the definition of a derby requires a rivalry, not just proximity. I don’t think about Preston from one game to the next. No different to playing Ipswich in my eyes.
  12. Interesting stat, we have looked a lot more solid with him in the team, but doesn't that add up to more games than we've played? 15 league + 3 league cup = 18?
  13. Not familiar with LinkedIn? It’s a cesspit of self congratulatory nonsense and virtue signalling.
  14. After first 10 mins that was an atrocious performance all round. They’re more than happy to sit in, exacerbated by them taking the lead. In response we look totally devoid of ideas and tbh tired. Need some changes at half time. Wharton and one of our 3 actual forwards
  15. I'm not sure what you're proposing? Keep a player around the squad (he won't make an 18 when Gally/Ennis/Leonard are all fit) who isn't good enough at the moment? You might not think we're in a position to have one for the future but here we are.
  16. He's quite clearly not a Championship caliber player at present. However that's not to say he never will be but I'd like to see if he can do it a higher level than crowd less friendly and/or German fourth division.
  17. Absolutely loves a goal in a behind close doors friendly against L2 opposition though! Possibly about his level? If Gally/Ennis/Leonard can stay fit (obviously a ridiculously large if), reckon Telalovic needs a loan in January. Might be a bit harsh as he's a young lad in a new environment but we need to see if he has it in him.
  18. Nah they're still knackered because they'll stick with arrogant old Kompany far too long. Damage will be done, regardless of what happens to Everton (spoiler - nothing will happen).
  19. As I said, worst individual piece of goalkeeping I've sever seen. I stand by it. None of the individual errors in that game were a patch on last nights shambles (again - he had two opportunities to come off his line to claim it before we even get to the debacle of the attempted save itself). That said Leo's overall performance last night was clearly better than Pears v Wigan. He bounced back from the error relatively well.
