I can't get even fathom how spoiled and out of touch you have to be to complain about atmosphere in the stands when you're being paid (very very well) to kick a ball around for a living. I would use HOF interchangeably with financial controller, largely dealing with day to day finance/accounting operations. FD should (in most properly run organisations..) be a more strategic role, whilst retaining ultimate responsibility for the finance function.
