  1. Not familiar with LinkedIn? It’s a cesspit of self congratulatory nonsense and virtue signalling.
  2. Markanday warming up ready to come on
  3. After first 10 mins that was an atrocious performance all round. They’re more than happy to sit in, exacerbated by them taking the lead. In response we look totally devoid of ideas and tbh tired. Need some changes at half time. Wharton and one of our 3 actual forwards
  4. I'm not sure what you're proposing? Keep a player around the squad (he won't make an 18 when Gally/Ennis/Leonard are all fit) who isn't good enough at the moment? You might not think we're in a position to have one for the future but here we are.
  5. He's quite clearly not a Championship caliber player at present. However that's not to say he never will be but I'd like to see if he can do it a higher level than crowd less friendly and/or German fourth division.
  6. Absolutely loves a goal in a behind close doors friendly against L2 opposition though! Possibly about his level? If Gally/Ennis/Leonard can stay fit (obviously a ridiculously large if), reckon Telalovic needs a loan in January. Might be a bit harsh as he's a young lad in a new environment but we need to see if he has it in him.
  7. Nah they're still knackered because they'll stick with arrogant old Kompany far too long. Damage will be done, regardless of what happens to Everton (spoiler - nothing will happen).
  8. As I said, worst individual piece of goalkeeping I've sever seen. I stand by it. None of the individual errors in that game were a patch on last nights shambles (again - he had two opportunities to come off his line to claim it before we even get to the debacle of the attempted save itself). That said Leo's overall performance last night was clearly better than Pears v Wigan. He bounced back from the error relatively well.
  9. Good foul from Dolan that. Sensible
  10. This ref has let everything go. Don’t hate it, at least consistent
  11. Living very dangerously here. Need someone to just calm it down
  12. Fucking hell we’ve got Cafu playing wide right
  13. The shite goalkeeping is catching. Lovely build up play though!
  14. He never made anywhere near this sort of error. Two times the ball ballooned up in the air and any competent keeper comes to get it. Then compounds it by letting it roll right through him. Genuinely the worst goalkeeping I’ve ever seen for Rovers.
  15. Fact we spent our only transfer fee on him makes me want to cry…
  16. That’s the worst piece of goalkeeping I’ve ever seen. Not only was it shocking to let that roll in, he also had 2 chances to come claim it and instead stood rooted to his line. Awful.
  17. The point is that the quality of said meat (at £4 for a pulled pork burger) wouldn't be much higher than what you'd give your dog. There are economics to consider as part of F&B pricing, it's not just plucking a figure out the hat that you think is fair.
  18. Has Raya made the required number of appearances yet? He’ll be out the team again soon. Been awful for weeks
  19. That is f'ing superb. Illustrates what a nothing club they are.
  20. It’s a total joke, instigated by the 6/7 richest clubs at the expense of the several hundred all the way down the pyramid that rely on FA cup money. International appearances aside, it’s a complete fallacy that top end Premier League sides play more. If you’re a decent L1 team you’re playing 46 league games, potentially play offs, long EFL trophy run plus whatever you get in league cup and FA cup - sure that averages out as more than most Premier League sides, with far smaller squads and much poorer facilities. This moaning about elite sportsmen, in their 20/30s playing too much will never ever make sense to me. They should be fucking grateful of the chance to do it for a living.
  21. Need 3 players on international duty to postpone a game in L1 I believe. Didn’t we sign Jason Leutwiler (?) as sub keeper purely because he used to get called up by Canada?
  22. I mean he was always fairly average (golden 6 months aside) but he looked especially crap when played through the middle. More effective when operating as a wide forward. I'm not so sure. He's signed a 4 year, £40k a week deal - £8m ish over the length of the contract, plus presumably a fairly chunky signing fee, whilst making him more marketable to Spanish speaking fans. It might have been a poor move from a football perspective in the long term (as he's clearly not good enough for that level) but financially it was absolutely the correct thing to do for him and his family.
  23. ...with a massively increased net worth
  24. Glad to see they've come out with a 16 game bundle for the exact same price per game as a full season ticket was in the summer. That sort of outside the box thinking is sure to get all those on the fence piling in. Hope the website and phone lines are up to the job....
