Statutory audit quality in this country is on the whole a total joke. In my eyes it primarily exists to train new chartered accountants. The standard of audit of unlisted entities is beyond poor (there is at least some oversight of higher profile, listed work and an attempt to enforce quality). When you couple that with 95% of the general public not understanding what it involves, it becomes an almost pointless exercise.

Comes across well and I really do think he is trying to do what he can in nothing short of ridiculous circumstances. Squad players including Stone, Howey, Walker, Phil Neville, Barmby, Redknapp. First 11 was quality, squad had nowhere near the strength in depth in midfield/attack that we have now.

You think Robson, Venables and Hoddle had comparable squads to Southgate? Laughable. Capello had a good squad granted, but again, no cohesion as noted in my initial post.

Can you name 1 manager who has had a squad this filled with world class players that are hungry to succeed? I could get this team to a QF/SF. It’s the bare minimum that should be expected. He’s tactically very poor in the biggest games and as last night shows continues to pick favourites rather than on merit. The only other manager who had anything like this squad was Sven but that was ruined by him a) also being a shite manager and b) United/Liverpool/Chelsea players refusing to play nice

Surprised by the level of confidence among some of their fans there. They're reading a lot into us having played Harrogate midweek, obviously it included 10 changes so first 11 should be ready to go. They've just come up and don't look world beaters from the (admittedly brief) bits I've seen of them Expect Rovers to get at least a point here and should be aiming for 3 if we have any aspirations at all of the top 6.

How do you know Kompany "seems to know what he's doing"? As far as I can see, in English football his only experience is winning Division 2 with about 50 times the cash of the rest of the league and getting pumped off City twice by naively trying to out play them....

I can't understand how anyone could defend the idea of him coming back. Just need to listen to the audio once, imagine that was one of your female relatives being treated like that. It's disgusting, regardless of him not being prosecuted. Genuinely abhorrent. If he played for Rovers and management wanted to bring him back I'd be done with the club. I disagree, their style is all wrong for the overall quality of the squad. They’ll win some games playing nice stuff but they’ll get ruthlessly picked off in many more.

They try to play like City despite having a 10th of the talent. Now they dont have the best team in the league they will struggle massively with their style, regardless of who they’re playing tonight.

Can’t wait for the Kompany love in to end. Spent a shit ton of money to win a weak league last year. So naive to set up like this against City (just like in FA cup last year). They’ll be lucky to get 25 points playing like this.
