  1. Weird that you’re collecting a dossier on me but whatever. Think I only made a comment about one corner. I’m no Morton fan, think he’s crap tbh and don’t imagine he’ll have a career anywhere near the top division. I do however think there are some ridiculous double standards applied to certain players.
  2. Thought he did alright for first start in a while but also think that if Morton put in a performance like that no one would be making a big deal about it. Gets an extra 2 out of 10 from people on account of being a Rovers fan in my opinion. As others have said, definitely needs a solid summer in the gym.
  3. 5 mins is a total joke. This referee has been abysmal.
  4. Should be about 10 mins of injury time, reckon there’ll actually be about 5.
  5. Shite corner from Wharton. Would love to see the reaction if Morton had taken that.
  6. So just the 4 out of 11 starting players need replacing with quality top end Championship players with zero budget? You’re right, we’re basically there…
  7. This team 😂 Hyam and Carter both awful there. Switching this off, see you for another mid table Championship finish next year
  8. Got to score there… We do look much better and quicker without the big lump up front
  9. Absolute disgrace of a performance from start to finish. Club is just rotten to the core. No one cares they’re all just stealing a wage. Much more likely to end up back in League 1 than the Premier League in the next few years. People wonder why we have shite crowds, well we get a half decent one on a sunny bank holiday and basically don’t turn up. Not much incentive to pay another 20 quid next time is there? Spineless from both players and manager.
  10. That first half was fucking atrocious and you can talk about lack of standards in the team but it extends to the stands. Bloke next to me just turned to his mate and said “we weren’t that bad”. It’s like they’re watching a different game. So so far off it, with chief culprits being Morton and Hedges for me. If they can’t get up for this there’s no hope. Need a total rebuild of the core of this team. Utterly unacceptable performance given the circumstance of the game.
  11. Exactly, he’s fucking 18, he’s not going to magically change our season. Get that in your head. The bollocks talked about Wharton is insane, he’s getting better by not playing, purely in peoples heads. If he wasn’t a Rovers fan no one would care he wasn’t been picked for having a shit attitude.
  12. JDT and the team. You've got to set standards. If he's not training well, what does it say to the team if he gets thrown in? "Don't bother working hard lads, I'll pick you anyway"
  13. No you're right, my apologies. I will ignore it literally coming from JDTs mouth, it's definitely just a conspiracy. I should remember AW is a Rovers fan so he can do no wrong. He should be starting every game, regardless of attitude!
  14. What I find strange is a lot of people seem annoyed he's not getting the chance. If we'd bought him and he had a shit attitude in training, people wouldn't be happy, but because he's from the Academy and a Rovers fan he seems to get a bit of a free pass. Effort in training should be a given. He's supposed to be a professional footballer, it's literally his job, it's not kids having a kick about anymore,
  15. As others have said, fairly certain it's agreed but not signed, purely on the basis we might get promoted and he can just sign here. Sure he'd rather play in the Premier League at home, rather than going to Spain.
  16. We're riding high, full of confidence and expectation, therefore this has home banker written all over it.
  17. Hope is great. It's what makes football, football. No highs without the crushing lows (which we've had plenty of under the current owners). I'd sort of consider the FA cup a high. Great day out, back on the national stage, making a great account of ourselves. Those are the days we live for as a club like Rovers, I'm sure there'll be many more to come, regardless of how this season ends, so long as we can keep AND back the manager. As it happens, I think we will just sneak in the play offs, then it's a bit of a lottery, who knows how it's going to play out. It'll be a cracking watch though!
  18. 4.07 for Hirst seems generous from memory...
  19. Glad these meaningless games are over now and we can go back to real football. Honestly think UEFA/FIFA need to revisit qualification. I'm not suggesting big teams should automatically qualify but there are far too many dull international games.
  20. This would be a fair argument if we actually played most games at 3pm on a Saturday. Given the amount of midweek games/silly kick off times on Sky, it becomes significantly more than £16 a game when you start to miss them. I agree that for someone who lives round the corner from Ewood it’s a decent price.
  21. Not sure why you're on the wind up (over use of emojis) over this? £379 is still more than it should be? It's not going to get 1000s more back buying season tickets (unless we end up in the Premier League)
  22. Reading the minutes there it doesn't sound like we'll be getting an enticing offer. If anything sounds like we'll be lucky to get away with a small increase...Don't think they'll ever learn.
  23. I want England to do well and win something as much as the next bloke but Sunday really put how I feel about the national team v Rovers into perspective. Feels like a long time since we had such a big game so perhaps I'd sort of forgotten but the way I felt watching us on Sunday, dwarfs anything I've ever felt watching England.
