Maddison has the potential to define the transfer window for us, alongside some nice loan signings. Signing a player like him really makes us dangerous in the final third.

I couldn't imagine a relegated premier team going for Maddison. If the posh chairman is to be believed and it isn't Wigan then surely it must be us in for him. Also the fact that the release clause was activated but the scheduling of the payment was the issue stinks of Venkys haha.

Ellis Harrison does not seem to be a championship calibre player from a look of his stats and other transfer rumours. He had a relatively good year last year but only scored 12 league goals. He hasn't offered a lot in other seasons and the only other club I could see that was interested in him was Plymouth. One to avoid in my opinion.

I am becoming nervous over the transfer dealings at this point. I have the feeling that Venkys will revert to their no investment ways. Need at least 3-4 new first team players.

Would love to sign Josh Morris to replace Conway on the left hand side. Although he might not be keen to return to the club.
