  1. Probably because they play in different positions.
  2. And that's how he's going to stay I reckon. I can't see any side signing a 36 year old who has had no pre season.
  3. I have to laugh at all these millionaire owners including the Tory at Fleetwood supporting redistribution of wealth. Also I don't remember Mr Pilley speaking out about redistribution of wealth when Fleetwood were going through the non-league system spending sums of money that other clubs at those levels could only dream. If I were in charge of a Premiership club I wouldn't give the EFL a penny until the odious Rick Parry is removed from office. How he is still in a job is beyond me, he's only been in office about a year and has already seen one club go to the wall and another go into administration. Not to mention the video that emerged of him in regards to Wigan. The EFL has been offered money for a stake in it but he never even told the clubs because no doubt he stands to do very well out of 'Big Picture'. Also he has failed to secure any government funding. When money has been chucked out left right and centre to industries he hasn't got anything, that just shows you how useless he is. I'm staggered that so many EFL clubs appeared to have been bought by what is nothing more than a bung, it offers them no security, once the big clubs get what they want then they can and probably will jettison the payments straight away. All EFL clubs would be doing if they accept this (although hopefully it doesn't get as far as them voting) is kicking the can down the road for another day. Do they really think that the Glazer's and Henry could give a toss about EFL clubs, EFL clubs are just their useful idiots to get them absolute power of the English game.
  4. Based on what I saw of Cunnigham against us the other day, I wouldn't be trying to get him back. I thought he looked well off the pace.
  5. They were both deducted points for breaching profit and sustainability rules. Profit and sustainability are two words that haven't been heard at Ewood for nearly a decade and won't be heard again unless we get back into the Premiership.
  6. Really, whenever I've watched on Ifollow it has been a minute behind at the very most and that isn't much different to if a game is being broadcast by Sky.
  7. He'd be here for one reason only a final pay day. Obviously he thought he could do better than us. If he'd wanted to be here then he would already be here as he would have signed the deal he was offered. His fitness levels dropped the second half of last season, so to sign him now at the age of 36 with no pre season under his belt would be nothing more than an act of desperation.
  8. With the fitness record of those 3 I'd say he has every chance of getting a decent bit of game time. £400k blimey I'll have some of what your having. Northampton have never spent 200K on a player in their history never mind 400K and then you have to consider that we are in the middle of a pandemic and they haven't had crowds since February. It's fantasy lad to say that we would have easily been able to get 400K out of Northampton.
  9. But Wharton is far more likely to be able to make an impact on the first both now and in the long term. He is 23 and has played over 100 competitive games, Magloire is a year younger and has not even managed to get into double figures for appearances. Also let's face it neither player is going to fetch much of a fee in the transfer market, so we'd just as well have the better player as an option. Let's not get to carried away it was a pre season friendly against a very weak Leicester team.
  10. And what level would you sell Magloire to League 2 or National League?
  11. Wharton is only a year old than Magloire and has a significantly more impressive CV.
  12. A good centre back doesn't need pace as a good centre back will read the game well enough not to need it. If a centre back is needing to use his pace too often it is because he has no positional sense. Look at all the great Italian centre backs form yesteryear none of them had pace, Bobby Moore England's finest centre half never had an ounce of pace.
  13. You don't need pace to play centre back. In fact most of the games great centre backs have had little pace, what makes a good centre back is his ability to read the game. Do you do the stats for the government by any chance? Only you told me after the Leicester game he won 3 headers now it appears that since the final whistle there has been a 66% rise.
  14. I actually think that Williams is half decent in the air, at both ends of the pitch. Whenever I have seen Magloire play he appears to be unable to jump.
  15. If Lenihan and Williams are out then Ayala and Wharton is the paring that I would go with. Wharton is much closer to being a Championship standard centre back than Magloire.
  16. No point putting Magloire in at this level until he is able to jump and head the ball. I don't understand why Carter and Magloire aren't out on loan they are well short of Championship level, one is nearly and the other is nearly 22 they should be out on loan playing and learning their trade.
  17. It's not a 10 minute delay on Ifollow.
  18. But all the sport that you watch on Sky has a time delay.
  19. You do realise that any sport that you watch on TV has a time delay?
  20. You evidently watch a lot of sport on Sky. So could I ask what do you find is the difference between watching Rovers on Ifollow and watching a Championship game of football on Sky? Personally I don't think there is any difference.
  21. If your paying £21 a month Chaddy you should ring them up and tell them that you are leaving. Then they will give you an offer cheaper than that, last time I did it I got Sky Sports down to £15 a month. Which just show how ridiculous charging £15 for one game is. I’m paying for a months worth of sport what they are charging to watch West Brom V Fulham. The standard coverage and quantity of sport on Sky is on the decline though. No Champions League or la liga anymore. No tennis at all, European club rugby gone. It’s cricket coverage is declining dramatically both in terms of quantity and standard. No snooker or speedway at all anymore. Fights only involving Matchroom fighters. Good shows like Sunday Supplement axed. It seems that all Sky are worried about these days is Premiership football which they massively overpaid for.
  22. You volunteered the information on other threads that you were on furlough and I believe that you have said that your employer at the time wasn't paying the extra 20%. So by what you yourself have previously said I wasn't wrong to simply say that you had been financially effected by the pandemic as your employer was giving you 20% less. But the only reason I tried to use you as an example was that you only some to feel anything or think anything if it effects you. Well of course these game have something to do with Sky and BT as without them they wouldn't be show. I assume that there will be commentators? Are there going to be adverts on their which they benefit from?
  23. I doesn't matter Chaddy I was trying to get through to you on a human level that spending £15 on top of the subscription fee is a lot of money to many people especially during these financially difficult times, but I really should have known better.
  24. My heart bleeds for them. The sort of figures that these clubs deal in money from season ticket sales is chicken feed. Is this the same Man Utd who paid £40M for De Beek, who bid £91M for Sancho, who have singed Cavani on 200K a week? Is it the same Liverpool who have just spent over £73M on players and have a new kit deal worth £80M a year?
  25. We've already got a better player than him in Grealish. But for some reason the bang average Mount is playing, that lad must have something on his managers how he starts for England and week in week out for Chelsea baffles me.
