And I still would, a massively overrated player by many on here. In a couple of years he will be playing League 1 at best. His contribution yesterday was side ways and backwards passing under no pressure as the Cardiff backline was happy to sit in and watch him do it as they knew he wasn't going to hurt them. -

How exactly? Side ways and backwards passes were his impact. -

Come on Chaddy it's not rocket science, put the big man (Gallagher) through the middle and get the ball up to him. Instead we stick him out wide, whilst at the same time bringing on Buckley to carry on trying to score through playing tippy tappy football which we never looked like doing the whole game. -

Typical for the first time this season I decided not to go to a game today because of the crap weather so paid £10 to watch that crap instead. Just like last season Cardiff came happy for a point and comfortably went away with one as we looked very short on ideas of how to break them down. Johnson and Bell the stand out performers, Johnson is just what you need in a game like that and Bell was a danger going forward and not put under much pressure defensively. Rothwell went on some good runs but the end product just wasn't there. Ayala was steady whereas Williams struggled with Moore and his distribution was awful. On a side note I though that Cunningham looked well off the pace for them. Brereton was poor, his first touch is shocking and when he did get an opening all it resulted in was a feeble effort. Gallagher has to score his chance. I also can't understand why we didn't go more direct when he came on, we were never going to play be able to play through them yet we kept trying to do exactly that along with speculative shooting from range. Buckley was one of the worst culprits for this far too much short tippy tappy passing from him. -

Lenihan has had plenty of game time already this season, why risk him aggravating it further. As for Evans until he plays for us he shouldn't be going of to play for Northern Ireland, in the 7 years he's been here he has always prioritised playing for Northern Ireland above playing for Rovers. -

If Lenihan and Evans are not fit enough to make the squad today then no way should either be allowed to go on international duty next week. -
He's hasn't looked it yet, so far in the Premiership he's let in 13 goals in 3 games. I wasn't a Raya fan and was pleased with £3 Million for him but equally I do not think that Johnstone is all that great either.
-
How do you come to the conclusion? He'd never played a game in the Premiership when WBA signed him.

I had already made a decision before the lockdown not to buy a season ticket this season and Waggott's actions in recent weeks have done nothing to change my mind. I haven't missed going to Ewood one bit and have already been to 10 games of non league football this season where the football is reasonably priced and supporters are valued. It is those clubs that need help not the likes of the Venky's and Mr Waggott on 300K.
-
The supporters have just had to sit through the misery of your mates accumulating the debt taking and bringing a lower standard of football to the club. Since they turned up everything at the club has gone down except the prices which only go up.
-
No doubt you are going to offset that at least some of that £170 by putting prices up again next season Steve.
-
Or perhaps they just cannot afford another steep price rise from Waggott.
-
I'm glad that you recognise this Chaddy. Given circumstances such as these do you not think that it was a foolish decision by Waggott to implement a steep price increase.
-
Even worse than the low expectations that I had. I though we might manage to muster up 4-5K

Man United could put out an under 23's teams including Henderson, Williams, Rashford, Greenwood, Fosu-Mensah, McTominay and Tuanzebe if they wanted to. Even the biggest Rovers fan would have admit that a team including those players is comfortably superior to a team of our under 23 players. We have a good group of young lads most whom are good enough for the Championship and two or three of them may well go on to be good enough for the Premiership, but let's not go over top saying that we are producing better players than Man United.
-
To be fair if I played for Man United and lost at Old Trafford to a team managed by Steve Kean I think it would probably be my worst moment as well.
-
He was out in Italy the last I heard of him.
-
I haven't used it for any of the league games as I like to get out and watch a game on Saturday afternoons. But I used it for the 2 league cup games and had no problem at all with it. It loaded up fine, picture was very good and the sound was all in sync. Personally I couldn't knock it at all for a tenner.

Championship Season 2020 - 2021
Ewood Ace replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Extremely fortunate to be in the league. There was a reason why they were 9th in League 1 when the season ended. -
How can you judge that Davenport is better than anyone, the lads never started a competitive game for us.
-
It's not really gambling with their development if we are going to be playing a 3 man midfield. I also have my doubts that Buckley has what it takes. There have been plenty of players who haven't got the move until a bit later in their career.
-
Bradley Dack was playing in League 1 at the same age.
-
But if you believe the guilt tripping of supporters from Waggott then the decision to give him an extended contract when he was never going to play could help to play a part in ending the club.
-
It is plausible if you have an outstandingly talented group coming through, we have a decent group of youngsters but not good enough to get promoted. You are a much more attractive prospect to potential signings if you finish 7th rather than 21st. You are also likely to be getting bigger attendances if you are 7th rather than 21st which results in more income. Neil Warnock style football achieves promotion on a limited budget. Tony Mowbray's football only achieves promotion when he has one of the biggest budgets on the division.
