I think Mowbray and Waggott have done a good thing here.You either try and get 21 million for Armstrong hoping to get some money from Venkys back to sign a replacement or just negotiate 15 million and sign a player who you might not have been signing if you went to venkys and said can i have 6 million to sign another forward when you already spent 12 on 2 others who so far haven't worked out very well.

There's a lot of arguing over what the fee is for Obefemi,i for one will wait until he actually joins before deciding if the fee is too much or not.There's no evidence that he'd want to swap the premier league for a mid table to lower Championship club.With only 1 year left on his contract are we sure he's not just going to run his contract down and pick his own team to join next summer.

There seems to be problems all over.Liverpool's pre season friendly had to be delayed for 30 mins today after problems with their new ticketing system meant they had long queues at the turnstiles.

I havent had any food in the ground for years and years way too dear and the quality was shite,my usual thing is to get a Burger on the way in before the game and a Hot Dog on the way out from a burger van near the ground.

I agree the younger players were the better loans last season. The differences between this season and last are last season we were on a supposed playoff push and had a much bigger squad so the young loans were able to contribute more to that with less pressure than this season were we have a much smaller squad and about to lose our top scorer so are more likely to be in a relegation battle. I don't want teenagers put in the position of having to bail us out when injuries and the wear and tear of a long season takes it toll and the small squad is stretched to its limits.I'd rather have experienced players help what could be a long and difficult season ahead.
