  1. Chorley are doing well this year after relegation from the National League and look good for a playoff place. They are one of those teams where they are good enough for the higher reaches of National League North but don't have a benefactor or crowds like the ex Football league clubs to make a good go of a National League season.
  2. This is probably the biggest transfer window we've had in years and years, will we hang on to BBD? Will we hang on to the 3 out of contract players? Will we add to the squad to give it a boost that might be needed by the end of Jan,will we pull a signing out of nowhere that surprises everybody? Will Dack comeback into the 1st team and play like he was playing before his 1st injury? All these questions and more should be answered in the next 34 days, exciting times ahead!!
  3. I'm more confident of victory here than any game for a while,i think we'll blow them off the park 6-0
  4. So you go with the Norwich approach, get promoted and spend hardly anything which in turn get's you bottom of the league all season and a limp attempt at surviving relegation,i for one would hope we'd make a better job then Norwich have the times they have been promoted recently.I want ambition to survive in the Prem not just be happy to be in it if we ever get back there.
  5. We seem to be after Hedges and Soutter so basically we're mostly going to be signing players from the scottish league for the foreseeable future because its the only place Park knows anything about.
  6. Luton v Bristol City added to postponements tomorrow, ours is one of only 3 left in the Championship.
  7. If we want to be serious about getting one of the automatic promotion places we have to go to places like Hull and get at least a point,i can see a nervy 1-1 draw ahead.
  8. He must think he'll be the only one in the club shop.
  9. Because it is a highly infectious strain that is going round now and there will definitely be more that 3 players affected by the end of next week so why have them all together spreading it between each other just so you can have a day out at the weekend.
  10. I think there'll be quite a few more postponements due to Covid in the weeks to come. It's only going to get worse before it gets better.
  11. We should try and get his Dad to every game if he can keep scoring headers like that while he is at the games.
  12. OK lads lets go out there and show them we mean buisness, one ball later.... oh shit..
  13. Looking like Spurs could struggle to field a team for their euro game this week as covid moves through the team, with the new variant spreading easier i can see a few football squads suffering in the next couple of months.
  14. Shows how much Johnson did on the pitch in the time he was on compared to the other midfielders.
  15. Some good tv ties there.Man U on the BBC whoever they play every year is a given but theres also some good Prem sides away to decent teams
  16. There's only one poster that i can remember saying he'll leave for nothing this summer.
  17. We'll probably end up with someone like Birmingham away
  18. Another big Loss for the u23's 4-0 this time against Man U They have to start picking up points soon as we don't want them relegated to the lower division
  19. If we get up can we not just sign him on a 1 year rolling contract,he only seems to have got off his arse and looked like a proper manager since he entered the last year of his contract.
  20. If he won't sign a new contract then he has to be sold by the end of the summer, can't risk him signing a pre contract on jan 23 and leaving for nothing. All this could be probably sorted out by us miraculously winning promotion as i'm guessing he'd sign a new contract if we were in the Prem.
  21. Great post.Posts like this and the one last week make me realise how easy some of us have that live in the area to get to a home game.I love the fact that we have fans that travel from all over the UK to see the mighty Rovers.Big thumbs up to all our far away Rovers supporters.
  22. Yeah that was the game where we were already 2-0 down before the red card and playing awful,it's right to say they've reacted well since that game but it shouldn't be forgotten how bad we were in the game.
  23. I agree. Its a whole month since we experienced our worst ever home defeat, they weren't very united that night. Some people seem to have short memories.
  24. How long has Benitez got left at Everton? Bad enough run of results without his Liverpool connections to have the Everton fans on his back?
  25. Tony Parks is a Spurs legend, he saved their winning penalty in the 1984 Uefa Cup final.
