  1. In fairness to Southampton's players. Martin is playing them out of position in a few cases, Adam Armstrong in central midfield, Charles who is a holding midfielder at centre back. Its like a 5 year old child is picking the team and wants to get all his favourite attacking players in the side at the expense of the "boring" defensive players Or maybe I am doing a disservice to 5 year old children?
  2. Apart from maybe Russell Martin He is seemingly trying to prove this season that you can take one of the most talented squads in the division, spend a load of money on it, and still get beat 5-0 on a weekend. Fingers crossed that the Dingles decide he is the perfect replacement for Kompany one day
  3. Szmodics would be my bet for midfield, Moran wide left
  4. Isn't he now 2nd choice behind Shaw since they sold the Brazilian (think it was Telles) Edit - now you have me replying to the wrong thread too, lol,
  5. The bold part is very likely by instruction, especially in playing out from the back, completely agree with the rest though
  6. Sounds about right, thanks for letting me know edit its back
  7. Did the stream go offline for everyone after we scored or just me?
  8. https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/254866444?sc_cmp=ppc*GHS+-+Grocery+-+New*MPX_PMAX_All_OT_Top+Offers_Online+Budget_1009392**254866444*&gclid=CjwKCAjwloynBhBbEiwAGY25dDU972p1lUnPzL6x7p_YGNXpjOagq7oetmcgwPNwgKCMpVim7PFSuxoCk1gQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Best fizzy drink hands down is "Ting" You can thank me later
  9. They don't even have the best squad in London
  10. Oddest Saudi transfer so far has to be Max Power surely?
  11. Isn't Holgate in talks with Southampton? & its already been mentioned but Gray off to Fulham
  12. Millwall fans think Rowett starts every season with a back 5, trying to play out from the back with players who are not capable of doing so, and then after terrible starts to the season, he switches to a back 4 and goes more direct, when they then start to improve. They just cant see why he keeps going back to the same tactics each season and doesn't seem to learn I think last seasons change in formation and tactics was straight after our game against them at Ewood
  13. That genuinely looks like something from a dystopian future, I can only imagine that 95% of people living there will never get to leave or even breath fresh air. God knows what happens to that place if there is an earthquake. As you say, the whole idea seems mad
  14. That wouldn't help Van Hecke then, he is very much right footed
  15. Not since Mulgrew have I been confident in our penalty takers, I don't think Diaz missed any in competitive games (although I do remember him missing one in pre season once) but he never really looked a convincing penalty taker to me
  16. Had to google Donnery Looks like a trialist from Lincoln https://www.sofascore.com/player/julian-donnery/1489555 No Batty, Gilsenan, Hilton or Barnes, so guess they are all with the fist team squad, given Gallagher is back in the squad and and Wahlsted is available, will be interesting to see who gets in the squad tomorrow
  17. Interesting bit of useless information for those who may be worried that Pears being given the #1 shirt means that he will be first choice Leo wore the number 12 at Odd, so it may be a favourite/lucky number or superstition for him. Which would maybe explain why Pears is #1 and Wahlstedt #12 at Rovers https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leopold-wahlstedt/rueckennummern/spieler/441892
  18. Mowbray cup magic in full swing for Sunderland, losing at home to Crewe
  19. Much better response to going behind this season than the majority of last
  20. In other news, Dack on the bench for Sunderland against Crewe
  21. Try refreshing your screen, they are definitely updating it If not, try either of those https://www.rovers.co.uk/match/first-team/2023-24/g2372906/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66368368
