  1. It will more than likely be our better players on higher wages who are sold to make way 😉
  2. Or, if that still falls foul of esc rules, If Rovers really want him, they could just agree a deal in advance to conclude on 1st Jan
  3. If Baradji needs surgery and is out for a few months, then he wouldn't have to be registered in the squad if I am right? Or, if that falls foul of esc rules, we could just agree a deal in advance to conclude on 1st Jan By the January window, at least one of Toth & Kargbo should have qualified for a standard work permit, so we will have a free esc slot regardless of what happens with Mafoumbi
  4. We have both mentioned similar. Don't think we are looking for a typical "right winger", but someone to help the right back when out of possession, but drift inside to make a second "10" when we have the ball
  5. Looking at clips, he seems able to come off the right to good effect., Allowing the full back to overlap, Id have him pegged as starting on the right, when everyone is fit, but also able to cover Cantwell
  6. Nope, apparently got a knee injury as soon as he joined them though which ended his season
  7. Once they have shipped out Travis & Buckley, We have Tronstad, Henriksson (if he will play that far back), Tavares, Montgomery (and Forshaw to come off the bench to shore up games) Imagine Forshaw is also seen as "insurance" if they receive an offer they cannot refuse for Tronstad (which considering those in charge, will probably be anything over a million)
  8. It probably wouldn't even cost too much to come to terms on paying his contract up so he can move back to France
  9. In the same way that it "kind of worked" at Southampton because they went up through the play offs (completely ignoring that with their budget, that was the bare minimum that they should expect), and that lead to multiple pundits claiming that he is the second coming of Pep, it will probably "kind of work" at Rangers and they will qualify for the Champions League (in 2nd place), again because of a giant budget compared to most of their rivals and he will by the end of the season be lauded as a genius by the idiots in the press
  10. Who could have possibly predicted such as strange occurrence?
  11. Their forum makes amusing reading, Apparently he played Rothwell as the deepest of his midfield 3, and a right back (Max Aarons) at left back I have no dog in the whole Rangers/Celtic thing, but I vehemently dislike Russell Martin, so for as long as he is there, I wish them nothing but disaster & disappointment
  12. If that's the case then the result makes better reading Hopefully he learns from it
  13. How on earth did I forget that Ennis existed? 😉 Further afield, Dolan came off the bench for his Espanyol (friendly) debut) & Rothwell is also playing now for Rangers- from a very quick scan of Rangers forum, it seems they have not taken to the ever so likeable Russell Martin, who has been playing Rothwell as the deepest of 3 midfielders (ahead of a Belgian International) and Mx Aarons (a right back) at left back He got an assist for the opening goal
  14. I don't doubt it, I just find it strange that he has played in 1 solitary game for the U21s
  15. He didn't play for the U21s though Maybe he had a relapse?
  16. He played for the U21s last week Would be strange that he cannot train, but can play for the u21s
  17. An easy one to start off with, as just the one player is currently away on loan Start today for O'Riordan - won 1-0 - played the full 90 & helped to keep a clean sheet Although seeing as we do not have many out on loan, and the friendly in the Netherlands may or may not be streamed. There are also a few games which may contain former Rovers which will be on Sky Sports + at 3pm today if anyone is interested in keeping tabs . The pick of these seemed to be Markanday scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for Chesterfield Markanday, Fleck & McFadzean v Connor Mahoney & Rakeem Harper - Chesterfield v Barrow Dack & Cirino - Accrington v Gillingham Jack Payne v Smallwood & "fans favourite" Jason Lowe - Colchester v Tranmere Matty Platt - Newport v Notts County James Connolly - Salford v Crewe Callum Wright - Wigan v Northampton Gent & Nathan Willis - Plymouth v Barnsley Gilsenan & Sam Laville - Grimsby v Crawley - apparently Gilsenan has a knock Harry Chapman - Barnet v Fleetwood Butterworth - Walsall v Swindon Callum Hendry - MK Dons v Oldham 12 noon Tomorrow Edun v Cozier-Dubbery - Stockport v Bolton
  18. Three of our released U21s have now found new teams in the National League North (6th tier) Lewis Bell moved to Marine after a loan spell there last season Rhys Doherty is now at Kings Lynn Town Paul Murphy-Worrell has moved to Southport, which seems an odd one as they already have Dan Pike at right back Adam Caddick is now at Warrington Rylands in the 7th tier
  19. Sometimes it doesn't even need "decent cash" to be on offer
  20. U21s are playing Ashton Utd at 1pm this afternoon. Jordan Eastham could play against us after signing permanently for them in the summer
  21. Wrexham is closer to his family apparently 😉
