  1. Starts today for Powell lost 3-0 Edmondson won 1-0 Eastham won 4-3 Michalski lost 6-1 On the bench Gamble lost 2-0 Saadi drew 2-2 Not involved in matchday squad Batty FA Cup game, but has also missed the past few games with injury, 2-2 after 90 mins, won on penalties Markanday FA Cup game, so may be a case of making sure he is not cup tied, lost 2-0 Garrett FA Cup game, so may be a case of making sure he is not cup tied, 0-0 after 90 mins, won on penalties O'Riordan FA Cup game, so may be a case of making sure he is not cup tied, 1-1 after 90 mins, lost in extra time Atcheson & Montgomery Both injured, drew 0-0 Vale Injured, lost 3-0 Wood lost 2-0 Mullarkey-Matthews won 3-1 Kahn - was involved with Rovers U21s yesterday, his loan was due to end this week and was only brought in as cover for Michalski anyway
  2. Probably exactly the same formation & set up as against Boro, Pickering moves inside to make a back 3 when we are in possession anyway, Beck playing the Hedges role is my guess
  3. U18s v Sunderland in the Premier League Cup this afternoon - won 3-2 Boggan (2) & Joseph
  4. Start tonight for Honor - won 3-2
  5. He needs to play regularly, Little over 500 minutes in total across first team and U21s this season as a result of him sitting on the bench (and being "21st man") in the League and Rovers exiting the League Cup early which would have been a good potential source of first team games for him. Seeing as the current plan seems to be get them playing (and learning from their mistakes) out on loan rather than for Rovers, it seems inevitable that Duru will spend the second half of the season elsewhere. Edit - those stats don't show his games for USA U20s, so his actual minutes will be a little higher than stated, but he does still need some more first team exposure, here or on loan, and my money would be on loan
  6. Score update if Rovers twitter account doesn't keep us in the loop. Apparently West Brom will post highlights on their website after the game
  7. Bizarre leap that you have taken with the Tronstad discussion with that statement. Barring us getting new owners before the end of the season, and therefore I am assuming that our finances are not improving in the short term, then yes, I think those 4 players they will be extended. As I said, Eustace is obviously a fan, they are currently in and around the team, and thus likely require very little effort to extend, which is perfect for those who run the club. Obviously if for whatever reason, the financial situation changes, then it is a different discussion entirely, but for now, that is not our reality.
  8. Surely also Tronstad? I would imagine given their age, Batth and Weimann will be easy enough to extend towards the end of the season if they are still worth a squad place. If they carry on as they have done, then I assume both will be extended. Hyam and Hedges both have extensions until the end of next season which will be triggered. Eusatace is obviously a fan of both
  9. Houghton is the only one of those who has featured for the U21s, and that's only about 5 games, Ramwell being on trial elsewhere implies he is not seen as one with a future here Duru & then Murphy-Worrell look to be first and 2nd choices for the U21s at right back, with Duru's appearances curtailed by his involvement wit the first team squad. Bloxham has started a couple there recently. and Rhys Doherty has also featured there on occasion. I would imagine Duru will be loaned out in January,
  10. right back. Although Ramwell has also played left back, Houghton has played as a centre back, and Mansbridge in midfield
  11. Houghton and Ramwell are second year scholars, so mainly with the U18s, although Houghton has played a few games for U21s this season Mansbridge is a 1st year scholar, turned 17 recently, also with the U18s
  12. I believe so. I've heard anywhere between 15 & 20% of any profit, which would mean £5M or £6M reasons for Venkys not to send any more money over in January https://www.caughtoffside.com/2024/11/27/adam-wharton-transfer-arsenal/ Man City & Liverpool also interested according story cited by the BBC. Surely Palace wouldn't sell until the end of the season? Get him fit and playing at his best again and then they would be looking at a much higher fee with those teams interested and a bidding war?
  13. Boro's first choice midfield (Hackney, Morris, Azaz - all missing last night) also pretty decent
  14. It seems Teddy Ramwell is on trial at Barrow. He seems to be behind Lucas Houghton in his own age group at Rovers, and also Tyler Mansbridge who is a year younger
  15. Which website? I would have thought that the answer to the first part in most cases is either the website owner, or whoever the website owner employs/enlists to do it, As for the second part; You would need to ask whoever is meant to keep whatever website it is that you are referring to updated 😉 If you mean Rovers website, are you looking for the U21 report from yesterday?
  16. amended, thanks for that, I misread Watson for Wilson
  17. Thanks for that, updated my earlier post https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/november/26/powell-secures-magpies-switch-/
  18. Cant recall loans to EFL clubs them until the window opens. I am sure they will both be recalled in January. Both of their loan moves have been disastrous for whatever reason
  19. Starts this evening for Powell played 87 minutes on his debut, replaced late on after Chorley went down to 10 men, whilst winning 1-0. won 1-0 Atcheson & Montgomery drew 2-2 Edmondson lost 2-1 Eastham lost 4-2, Eastham did save a penalty Honor lost 3-2 On the bench O'Riordan drew 1-1 Gamble lost 2-0 Not involved in matchday squad Garrett lost 2-0 Mullarkey-Matthews drew 1-1
  20. was apparently playing in the U18s last season, so would assume 19 at the most (obviously may be younger)
  21. I think this is in tier 9 which needs to be taken into consideration, but still young, and double figures already for the season Competition Teams Played For Appearances Goals Clean Sheets The Emirates F.A Cup Irlam 1 0 0 The Isuzu FA Vase Irlam 1 0 0 Premier Division Irlam 20 10 5 Manchester Premier Cup Irlam 2 2 2
  22. I was expecting that we would see Gilsenan in an U21 squad before Pratt based on recent updates of Gilsenan's recovery
  23. I am sure others have seen more of him than me, but so far, he does not seem to have stood out, Has a decent amount of pace, and looks better as in inside left forward cutting in, rather than as a central striker from what I've seen of him
  24. Rovers have 2 games this afternoon, both at 1pm Central League Cup - away v Morecambe - entry is apparently free (with voluntary donations) Premier League Cup - home v Fleetwood
