  1. With Dack out I would do all possible to bring Brewster in now. We can't take our foot off the pedal. I would imagine Dack will be out for most of the remainder of the season so we can't afford to lose any amount of attacking threat.
  2. Getting really nervous for this now. Gutted Tosin isn't available, big loss! Gonna be a tight affair I think now, but I expect our substitutions to be key!!
  3. Absolutely stunning. Looks like we are beginning to reap the benefits from it now. Love seeing things like that and showing my young boys what they can have if they work hard enough.
  4. My view on Walton and the goalkeeper situation is that, Raya wanted to go, TM had a few targets that he couldn't sign and ended up with Walton. He has looked a lot more assured since he's had a settled back 4 in front of him. He is obviously a stop gap until we sign our own first choice keeper, and I think to be fair on him, the fact that only 2 keepers have kept more clean sheets than him this season, would warrant him a higher rating than 3.
  5. Walton scoring a 3, I think, is very harsh. I am one that thinks we should look at signing a keeper in January to be our new number 1 but only Casilla and Raya have kept more clean sheets.
  6. Nunes is currently plying his trade for Farense, who are currently top of the Portuguese second division. The rest are probably part time plumbers working for Caddis.
  7. Just noticed Smallwood's agency is SEM group. I used to like the bloke, but he's gone down in my estimation now.
  8. Give me Warnock, Grant or Wagner over that prick anyday.
  9. I can't believe we haven't thought of that before. You my friend are an absolute genius!!
  10. Exactly, it's not like we play tika taka football. We work hard and we don't give up. We don't really have a style as such. If any future signings don't come with the hard work skill set then I would rather not have them.
  11. That would be exactly my team. That team would absolutely walk this league.
  12. I get that, but the comment just comes across rather negatively. It strikes me as the kind of attitude that lost us Bauer. The last thing I want to happen in this window is for us to be signing players to sit on the bench week in, week out or fester in the U23s. I want a new GK to come in and take the gloves, a new left back who can improve our starting 11 immediately and a centre half that is of equal, if not better quality than Lenihan. We are on the cusp of something special here and making signings in January, that won't be ready to play our way until March is exactly the wrong way to go! If these players targeted are good enough then they will learn our way quickly. They have to, otherwise we run the risk of being also rans YET AGAIN!
  13. I get really nervous and frustrated when I hear "People will ask what are we doing in January? We might sign some players, but they might not get in the team because they don’t know how we play, what to do in certain situations,” Mowbray explained. “They have to integrate in to the football and that’s been the case for a few players. We’re trying to teach the players when to play, when to be calm, when to be aggressive, when to sit off and let them have at the back and see if they can play through us, teach them football. “It’s not something you can do in a couple of sessions. Then in time you buy some new players because you want to improve but then you have to introduce them to the systems and methods.”
  14. If this is to be believed then where does that put the Cunningham rumour? It's a tough one, Fox would be cheaper but we know what we would be getting with Cunningham. However, Fox is fit and playing well where as we wouldn't see Cunningham until we kick off in the Premier League next season. Choices choices!!
  15. Going to The Den in 1985 with my old man, for my introduction to football at the age of 7. We won 1-0, but the train ride home from Millwall to Bromley was quite possibly the scariest moment of my childhood.
  16. I can see this being our biggest win of the season and how sweet it will be. Hate their manager, hate their grubby fans, they are a nothing club hanging on to the memory of 1 FA Cup success. If we get at them early I reckon it'll be a 3 or 4 nil victory. Would love it to be our result that puts the nail in that prick Cook's coffin. Come on Tony, be more ruthless than you've ever been and inspire the boys to a night to remember.
