  1. Gloria Estefan straight outta left field. Love It!
  2. @Miller11 you should start a separate thread for the radio station. Get more exposure.
  3. I'm re-assured and will keep listening? but If I ever hear Keane or Snow Patrol....
  4. @Miller11 good shout on Coldplay. Fuck that ?
  5. ^I thinks that's ex-Rover Matty Pearson who plays for them.
  6. Predicted Line-ups from Lancs Live:- Predicted Rovers XI: Kaminski, Rankin-Costello, Lenihan, Wharton, Douglas, Johnson, Trybull, Rothwell, Elliott, Armstrong, Brereton Predicted Luton Town XI: Sluga, Pearson, Rea, Bradley, Cranie, Dewsbury-Hall, Ruddock, Cornick, Berry, Moncur, Collins
  7. I'm sure someone will help you. I've no idea.
  8. Defending is a mere detail that detracts from Tony's dream of Rovers becoming the Barcelona of Old Blighty.
  9. I lost confidence when he said 'They're good on set plays". That's us fooked!
  10. I think that's pretty much my view. He's brought some excellent players to the club (and some overpriced mediocrity) and has done well integrating the Academy lads into the first team. The club really was in a sorry state after Coyle so credit where it's due. And getting us back into the Championship first time of asking was no mean feat either if you consider the clubs that have languished in Div 1 for years. Sadly, I just don't think he'll ever get us in the Prem, or even the PO's.
  11. Rovers fans have a lot to be thankful to Bill Fox for. An often forgotten figure in our ascendancy but the man who laid the foundations. While the rest of our traditional rivals were applying for re-election and trying to avoid relegation to Non-league in the 80's, Bill not only made the decisions that kept us in the 2nd Division (King Kenny wouldn't have taken over a team in Div 3 or 4), but also had us a whisker away from promotion to the 1st Div without a pot to piss in. It must have been a real regret for Uncle Jack not to have had Bill stood next to him on the pitch at Anfield in '95.
  12. Aye, Walton was terrific. ?
  13. Predict The Score - Romantic weekend in Bangor with Shebby Singh for the winner (self-funded) Luton 1 Rovers 1
  14. @glen9mullan Are you still in charge of substitutions??
  15. Newell slotting it past the Dad of our current No.2 Keeper. Who's the commentator on most of these clips. Love his enthusiasm!
  16. Bloody Hell, I went to that with my old man, I'd forgotten all about it. And it didn't know it was Garner's last goal in a Rovers shirt. Chuffed I was there to see it.
  17. That's the crux for me too. 'Complete helplessness' sums it up perfectly and was why many fans walked away from the club.
  18. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2020/november/injury-update-kaminski-nyambe-holtby-ayala-williams/ injury updates
  19. Forgot about Elliot, he might be the first on the list as the months go on.
  20. I think so, can't blame him though, I've been to Boro in summer...winter must be horrendous!
  21. I think the Boro fans said he was available until January then took a few months off and came back in Spring!
