  1. If lack of trust over wasted money was an issue he'd be long gone due to BB & SG.
  2. Waggott will have influence, he'll be trusted like Mowbray is. Those two will have each other's backs.
  3. We're not 'billy big bollocks, just amazingly successful people.
  4. Waggott himself said he made recommendations to the owners regarding football decisions. He also said he was 'driving' forward the Brockhall plans. He's also the CEO. It seems far-fetched to say he has no influence whatsoever. It's just as likely that he's the one who the other two characters mentioned in this thread (Babu and Pasha, whoever the fuck they are) defer to on football matters. And I don't think anyone said Waggott had the authority to sack Mowbray, but I can imagine he can buy Mowbray a lot more time. Let's face it at any other club he'd have been sacked after 1 win in 12. The Cov Boy 3 have obviously got a lot of influence at Ewood.
  5. In Tony's world, yeah. I always thought of the Dalglish/Rush combo as being the perfect strike partnership. Dalglish dropped in to space got the ball and played Rush in. Mowbray would just play Dalglish and call him a false 9 .... Rush would be on the wing. Madness.
  6. You're both wrong, but if you go and have a look at the goals he scored under Coyle and then come back and apologise for being wrong, we can all remain firm friends.
  7. I honestly don't know where the 'shit in the air' comes from with Gally. He's not got Graham's abilities to hold the ball up admittedly, but put a cross in for him to attack and he's fairly unplayable. He proved that when Coyle was here - some great headers amongst the 12 goals he scored. As for why he doesn't play him there, well it's not part of his 'philosophy' that he nicked off Klopp. It's such a shame a good group of players are being so badly utilised.
  8. This nonsense may need re-visiting 😬
  9. Just seen the goal. Ball to the back post for the big striker to head home. Not a false 9 in sight. It's almost like it's a simple game.
  10. Is that that big 6ft 4inch No 9 who's scored from a header? Fancy that...
  11. Yeah, if it wasn't for the opposition...
  12. I think it may be to do with 1 win in 11, and possibly our third consecutive game without scoring.
  13. Like two mad old pissheads sat in a bus shelter, shouting at traffic.
  14. Yeah, lets judge him as a false 9, whatever the fuck that is. Knock yourself out. Please.
  15. I'm not watching that shite, but it's not fair to judge him as a false 9. I'm sure you and your football fwiend Brightsparks will hammer him at every opportunity.😉 Should be fun🙄
  16. Subs: Pears, Nyambe, Branthwaite, Bell, Bennett, Johnson, Downing, Elliott, Gallagher
  17. Nyambe's on the bench. The other two are injured.
  18. Yep, hamstring, the injury that previously ruled him out.
  19. AA not in the squad. Has Tony fooked him up by playing him midweek?
