  1. I fear he'll limp on to the summer, and then with a clean slate (with some fans) anything could happen. I also think Waggott will go out of his way to convince Venky's to give Mowbray a new deal this summer.
  2. Only in Venky's world would being 'better than Coyle' be worthy of a mention. It's gone wrong for Mowbray this season, as it does for a lot of managers after the 3rd or 4th season. He certainly puts more thought into than Coyle, and I'd imagine he's a lot more clued up than Coyle on tactics etc. But Coyle was certainly a braver manager, he played wingers and strikers and wanted to attack teams. Mowbray just wants to keep the ball in the middle of the pitch so the other team can't score. Coward's football.
  3. To deflect from the shitshow on the pitch, what is your best guess for when Mowbray will do one?
  4. Loving your work. Could you please add 'performance-based coach' and 'attacking platform' for the full Mogga bullshit experience.
  5. I wonder what prompted this sudden need to inform the fans of Ayala's condition after all this time. Surely he wasn't getting his excuses in on the back of Nixon recently alluding to the fact the Venksters weren't impressed with Mowbray signing a known crock? I wouldn't believe honest Tony to be so cynical. Anyway, Tony's quick to point out in the article that he's learned the lessons so it's all sorted!
  6. He's also admitting that he caused more serious injury to Ayala by playing him 3 times in a week when he wasn't fit. Seems to be a pattern here...one that Dack can be included in. Mowbray needs to be fucked off pronto, if only for the safety of the players.
  7. It's easy passing the ball around midfield, never committing men forward. Anyone can do that, anyone can play it safe. Not losing by many is a win in Tony's world. Coward's football. Teams sit back and let us do it. We offer no threat so they let us have the ball. If the passing and moving was excellent we'd be cutting through teams and making chances. In the games I've seen that rarely, if ever, happens.
  8. An 'accumulation' is behind Rovers' struggles, says Mowbray | Lancashire Telegraph Inspiring stuff. Norwich might batter us, they might not. Churchillian.
  9. LOL at Saadi leaving that Brighton player on his arse.
  10. 1-1 Confident penalty from Mcbride.
  11. Whitehall looks a very good player.
  12. I'm watching it. Does anyone have the team sheet including numbers?
  13. A 1-0 Rovers win, an outpouring of Tone-love on twitter, and a new 3 year contract.
  14. We are if you click on the '10 game' button in your link.
  15. That's all he's got left. He lived on the fact we were top scorers for most of the season, then it was possession and now it's that we don't get walloped very often. Funnily enough, he never mentions results.
  16. I doubt Rotherham could beat us. I'd be amazed if they got anywhere near the 44 points we're on. We're safe because other teams like Rotherham are utter shite. We're just shite.
  17. Armstrong comes through unscathed after Rovers 'gamble' | Lancashire Telegraph Mowbray again admitting he ignored his medical dept. Williams, Travis, Dack, AA.....
  18. He's on record as saying he wanted rid of it. He changed his tune a few months later. Not a trustworthy bloke by any stretch...but if you call yourself honest & honourable etc enough times, and get your mate who is CEO to repeat that narrative, fans start to believe it.
