  1. Football aside, I think the new tax year starts on the 6th. Yes, I am an arse.
  2. Is Pasha still 'liking' tweets backing Mowbray? What's his twitter name? I'd like to offer him my thoughts on the genius in the dugout.
  3. 'reducer' was always a personal fave. Or the 'Nicky Marker' as it used to be called.
  4. “In my mind, we’ve got seven games to go, we’ll win enough football matches not to get concerned" Tony Mowbray: Rovers 'will win enough not to get concerned' | Lancashire Telegraph At least he knows how many games are left.
  5. What was the story with Andy Crawford? I know he ended up at 4th Div B'mouth after us but why did he want to leave, only to end up there?
  6. Matt Damon, in his least challenging role yet, plays beleaguered soccer manager Tony Mowbray as he sleeps for 90 minutes in a dug out whilst his team get dicked yet again. The Bournemouth Supremacy.
  7. I like that he called our CEO Steve Maggott and outed the Coventrio? Who is Ian Moore?
  8. I thought @K-Hod was BRFCS rep?
  9. There is no right or wrong answer, I was just interested if those that normally buy one were keen to go back, or if they'd been Mowbrayed.
  10. That would be the only incentive for me. But I think one match watching Mowbray's dross in a quiet, dead stadium would be enough for me not to want to go back. If the urge takes me I'll try a single match ticket.
  11. Probably worth a poll as it seems to be a point of debate. It's easy to say you won't buy one in a middle of one of the worst runs in the club's history, but after a summer of reflection, the promise of returning to Ewood and the chance to see new players, will you still fell the same in August if Mowbray is still here? Like everyone else I imagine, I always feel renewed hope (I know, I know!) at the beginning of the season after a few months of no football, and the promise of new players and a fresh start. But I suspect this summer might be different. I'm used to not going now, I don't watch the matches anymore and I feel the people making the decisions both on and off the pitch are not only incompetent, but don't have the best interests of the club at heart. Self-serving chancers just about sums them up. But probably the biggest reason is that BRFC is a professional football club in a results-based industry. Mowbray, however, appears to think he isn't to be judged on results but on performances, which I genuinely find to be not only arrogant, but an insult to the fanbase. And, anyway, the performances are shite, so he's failed anyway. So, I think I'm out, how about you?
  12. I started reading that story in the LT but was distracted by the most read story:- The Lancashire beauty spots being used for dogging | Lancashire Telegraph Anyway, I'm off for a drive....
  13. Have you got a link? I can find all the previous ones but not this weeks? EDIT: found it. EDIT: Nope. Haven't found it😄
  14. Which brings us back to the Barnsley conundrum. Saved from relegation on the last day of last season, kept the same manager, no wins in 6 at the beginning of this season, sacked manager and now top 6 a few short months later. Same players. And we have more players in our squad that have 'proved' they could do better elsewhere, and have achieved more in the game, than Barnsley's ever have. Everything changes with a new manager, as has been shown a million times before during the lifetime of professional football. l wouldn't make any judgements on the players until a more competent manager gets hold of them.
  15. So the all-new and exciting 'attacking platform' has brought us the least amount of goals yet since being back in the Championship. It's almost like he makes it up as he goes along.
