  1. If we keep creating the chances as we have been, take them instead of missing them then some team is going to take a beating. Hope tomorrow is the day. Doubt we'll keep a clean sheet so I'm going 1-3 rovers.
  2. How many tickets have we shifted for this? Curious, as it looks like Ipswich have put a whole new block of tickets on sale for their own supporters.maybe we have given up part of our allocation.
  3. Apart from JDT being a smug wanker. What Utter nonsense. Says he's a decent manager then comes out with that shit. All I say is that JDT is still on a learning curve regarding our basket case of a club and he's had to put up with all sorts of shite. I find comments from blow in... Bloody offensive to be honest. Hopefully we win at Ipswich and shut him up for a while.
  4. Like who rigger? What a silly post.
  5. Fucking get in.... We deserve that at the very least
  6. Too right. I've been watching Rovers since 81....and not once have I purchased a beer in the stadium because I know it will be overpriced, served by kids and bloody tasteless. Used to pop into the Manxman and have a few beers there. That was enough for me.
  7. Way off there matey. Sorry to say.
  8. Burnley down to 10 chimps.
  9. Watching on a live stream for my sins. Both poor Premier teams imho by what I've witnessed so far.
  10. It won't happen for league games but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again in the cups.... Depends on the opposition I suppose and being drawn at home. It's pathetic tbh.
  11. Rovers match day shirts from the Boro game are up for caution. ( 5000 games) Silent auction via Rovers website.
  12. Hopefully Waggott will be gone by then.
  13. Of course winning would be great, especially against a Mowbray team. But I have to say Sunderland fans, well those that I have met, are an affable lot. Been up to Sunderland twice and they were a very friendly bunch and most welcoming when we went into a local working man's club for a few beers. Tbh I wish we had the kind of support that they do. Different geographics obviously.
  14. Well if that's Stuart Ripley standing next to Brian Douglas... He hasn't aged well at all. He looks older than Douglas!!! Ripley is 55 years old right now. Plus I don't think he'd dress like as portrayed in the photo. Can't be right surely?
  15. Maybe it's just me but I reckon this style of football JDT likes to play is knackering for some of the players. Travis, Britain and young Wharton were breathing through their arses after 70 minutes.
  16. The return of the Dack and Mr. Tony Mowbray. Sunderland have virtually sold out their allocation of 3800. Should be a cracking game if today was anything to go on. COYB.
  17. Our own worst enemies... Game should have been dead and buried at half time.
  18. According to the BBC sports website Hull v Coventry....att....22,000 must have been a promotion on there! Southampton v Leicester.... Att.. 28,000 Tomorrow at Ewood if the stands are open and a big Boro following.... Who knows!
  19. Just not a home defeat please. Not against the bottom of the league.
  20. Lost for words to be honest. Totally embarrassing.
  21. Kind of a contradiction of terms there mate. I think we got him on a free tbh. So nowt lost in terms of money if he proves to be as you say.
  22. Before I started supporting Rovers my team was WBA..... Only for the fact that I was given their kit for Xmas when I was 4 years old. Still don't know why to this day! Visiting Burnden park as a 13 year old in 1977 was only my second experience in watching a live football match, the first being 1969 at turf moor v West Brom. My parents dropped off me and my younger brother and we made our way onto the Burnden Terrace. My parents went shopping in town in the meanwhile. Can't remember how the game v Albion panned out tbh.... Either 1-1 0r 0-0...not that many Baggies fans behind the goal but still loads of bother outside and scared me shitless. Luckily my parents were across the main road waiting for us... Couldn't get away quickly enough. Horrible place.
  23. Bang on.... Whilst I don't like criticism of our own players we were crying out for a proven goalscorer today. We should have been 2 up at half time but for some reason our forwards decided to wear leg irons today and every chance was a scuffed effort. I think it would have been better to use those charity models outside of newsagents in the old days, the ones with coin slots in their heads and wearing calipers on one leg. Very disappointed with how it ended despite our good start to the game. I've been a supporter of Pears during his stint in goal but after today we surely have to give the Swedish chef his chance. Travis (ty)..... Don't know what to say about his performance today. He looked very poor imho. Well done to those that made the 600 + miles round trip. Credit to our club.
  24. Kaminski drops a bollock for West Hams first goal.
