  1. I've seen some stats on these kids and how many of them actually carve out a career. If you're at a premier league academy, then you have a. 019 % chance of making your debut. Some blokes looked at how many of the kids who get pros are still pros 5 years later, they started with over 200 and when they checked back after 5 years only 4 were still pros. Basically your odds are slim, perhaps some should consider pro lottery playing as another avenue to riches, or should consider you need 11 to play a match.
  2. I saw it the same way as chaddyrovers and I watched the whole match live on Bet365. We came and robbed them blind.
  3. Bet365, leipzig yesterday & napoli today would strongly argue that I am not on a winning run as all my accumulators have had 1 donkey 😭 As long as Athletic & Everton win to support lazios earlier victory, then I'll be on the start of one. πŸ₯‡πŸ˜‚
  4. I will have to start the match threads more often, I'm obviously a good luck charm πŸ€ You can all thank me for the 3 points with a pint, next time we meet at Ewood.
  5. And now that TM has steered the ship in the right direction, it is time for a new captain to take the helm. All leaders have their arena, Churchill great during wartime and rubbish at peace, TM has brought stability that seems his gift but we need promotion and this seems his peace. If TM has done as he said, given the whole senior staff are his appointments and of his ilk, then we should have faith that a 'good' man will be appointed by them. Even the owners have bought in for a while now and surely given the transformation they too see the benefits of a club unified in purpose. If the club is now as stated then faith should also be given by us that matters will not return to the chilly days of icebergs and shysters.
  6. The Stoke match demonstrated just how poorly drilled we are as a team. Headless chickens.
  7. The Gally bid is real apparently brum. Trouble is waggot wanted more than 2 quid and brum didn't think he was worth it haha.
  8. Have you not just done exactly the same by mentioning the world player of the year award? I would sell him for 20m βš½πŸ‘ just so you know, imo he hit a rich vein and we should take advantage, we won't go up either way.
  9. Your point reinforces mine, he doesn't quite have the intelligence to achieve what we need. I felt we should have stayed up and like yourself feel he had 4-5 good chances to do so. I also believe that TM failed us that season.
  10. I kinda thought I said he wasn't a 15-20 goal man? That's great money for Brereton. It amazes me how the players you sell flop after they leave. Personally I think it is quite realistic, I have my rovers save and we have won the treble for about 5 seasons running. Euro Cup, league and either the fa Cup, cola Cup or both, just like the good old days haha.
  11. To be fair my best tally for AA is 43m after a season in the Premier league. He is a decent advanced forward in FM πŸ˜‚πŸ‘
  12. I find his defensive signings baffling. So in the summer he wants to instill a new way of playing, so obviously you sign players to suit the style. So we sign Ayala, he is not quick, cannot cover the flanks and yet was our star signing. He will always struggle to play well within the team because his attributes do not suit.
  13. I wouldn't be turning down 30m, I'd also be rather shocked if they did. His final decision and finishing is not quite at the level of a regular 15-20 goal a season Premier league player for me. Dolan , Brereton, dack and Elliott in a 4231 would be my choice SG can back up young Ben. I'd be banking/investing at least half back into the club, but even what's left would not be entrusted to TM. He's awful with money...
  14. Whilst I am unsure that Hughes would return, him coming would at least reassure fans and alleviate fears. He, as others have said would most likely only return if the club was run properly and geared towards promotion. His links with our better days, would probably be good for the club as a whole and if anything would create closer collective unity. A move like that would be a good decision by our owners and demonstrates we really are aiming to return home. It's quite growing on me.
  15. I dunno, bling looks like the type who could forget what he did yesterday.
  16. You’re right he did, didn't he. TM had the opportunities to keep the club up during our relegation season. I know this will sound harsh, but TMs biggest failure is without doubt his intellect, or lack of it. I listen to him talk and he appears to have a magic ability to contradict himself in the same conversation. It's amusing if you are emotionally detached, but I am not. This lack of intelligence transpires in the majority of his responsibilities at rovers. Tactics, team selection, transfers and so on, for me this is the primary reason we must role the dice, he does not appear to have the ability to achieve what we need, as it is beyond his ability. Harsh but I think it is true.
  17. He should have kept us up, we had the opportunites too, Norwich springs to mind. He screwed up our relegation fight as I believe we should have survived, but he cannot shut a team out. The one aspect that pisses me off is the fact he is obsessed with us trying to play like Liverpool. Our formation, playing a deep lying forward with wide forwards, possession with no purpose, lack of cohesion, he just cannot coach. So trying to copy seems foolhardy and we clearly need better. We have good players, we should have our own style, developed to suit our strengths, but alas TM seems to lack originality and creative thought. We need better, the table does not lie, we have stagnated, 3 years is a serious time frame in football. Someone call a cab.
  18. That would be the ideal way, wouldn't it. TM poached to 'big' club, we get some compo and can bring in a new man who can do more than talk about the play-offs.
  19. Obviously keen to be part of the team that finally relinquishes the SPL title. Lennon will get canned soon.
  20. Chaddy ever considered politics? We aren't playing well, we are disjointed and are some margin away from the play offs,in poor form. If season on season we could see progress in results and play, then I could understand giving him more time, but we do not and the last 3 seasons are pretty much the same. It is time to roll the dice. I do not want to sell say AA and give the funds to TM, his track record with money is shocking and I'd rather let a new man spend the cash.
  21. Mercer only buys from M&S, lidl is beneath him. Why are we training on the main pitch? We have indoor pitches, several at Brockhall, numerous public places (hire) etc. Something could be sorted as clearly using our match pitch to train, has wrecked it. Poor decision.
