  1. You would think SG or BB would be our striker. SG central, BB on the left and Dolan right. We all know he picks the team by tombola, perhaps he also does positions that way too. I wonder if he makes choices by flipping a coin?
  2. Really? So he rushes him back and then states that rubbish in the papers about players knowing their bodies etc and next match AAs out injured? You're having a laugh right? Surely even TM is not that dim.
  3. SG not playing as a winger? I'm going to faint.
  4. Its come to something when Coyles last 11 games reaped 50% more points than TM has in his last 11.
  5. TM does not seem to like playing younger players in general. I find the Celtic lad signing a strange one as you would have thought given how he has done at U23s he would have gotten the odd cameo from the bench, but no. Johnson you would have thought given his heritage, would be championing the cause for some younger players to be included, but again we don't see any being given a chance. Even his 7m star signing had to wait a season before he started getting some chances. What a confidence booster that must have been, we have enough faith in you son to spend 7m on you, but not enough faith in you to play you. That must have done BB the world of good as he was starting at Forest, if I remember rightly BBs lack of confidence was then blamed on us, as we are the most votriolic fans in the UK by a country mile, even Millwall cower before our notorious Ultras. The man has the man-management skills of a rather DIM person, he was probably a late bloomer at school as he cannot see how his own actions clearly impact the other younger players. If I was Mcbride (a midfielder on Rovers.co.uk, well done TM), I'd be asking for a loan to get some playing time as U23s after Celtic and previous loans will just stunt his development, he needs pitch time. He's hardly the type of man we need when we have a CAT 1 academy. These players should be playing much more often (Dolan also aprings to mind), as confidence can carry kids to new heights and enthusiasium. Image what TM would have done to Phil Jones, no debut against Drogba would have happened there for sure. We need a manager who is prepared to play the kids to help bring them through otherwise our CAT 1 academy is useless. No wonder he doesn't seem bothered at the potential prospect of losing that with his buddies not crooked training ground "improvements".
  6. I don't even think Ayala suits the way TM wants to play. Full backs push up with Mowbray and with 1 holding midfielder our CBs must have some sort of pace to their running ability. He is slow cumbersome and does not go out to protect the flanks as he knows he will not make it and his lack of pace will leave the area behind him exposed. He was a strnge signing, with a more traditional back 4 and less forward thinking full-backs he would be fine, but never in a million years does he replace the attributes we lost when Adibaryo went back to City. Strange signing and from Boro to boot, not saying anymore... Pears
  7. Matt83 that's cool and amusing, cheers 😂
  8. LOL, no my names Mark Uranus..... I'm an ASSistant.
  9. I thought PSG at home to Nantes was a banker too. Well today will be a hard game for us to get a result from, so I'm hoping we only lose by 1 goal, as that would be a great result for us. 2-1 to Norwich,
  10. If the Venkys did business like normal people he would have been. But alas they clearly haven't heard of the Internet or phones, as the last few years display.
  11. Some cracking insults, sorry debate here. Personally I do not care how many shots AA has he scores 20 goals a season and we need those 20 goals. Who knows if his accuracy improves, then he will score even more and leapfrog the others you compare him too. He is our player, our main goalscorer this season, regardless of his stats.
  12. Travel to the UK from India, is actually possible at present, according to the government website. 14 days quarantine is required, so he could actually be here. Please Pasha sack them all ASAP 👍
  13. I can understand your worries Stuart, our form is awful at present and we are playing poorly. Thankfully however we are nowhere near the bottom of the form table. https://thefishy.co.uk/formtable.php?table=2 I do not believe we will go down, I do think that even with TM leading us, we will somehow get to the required 50 points. I hope I am right (famous last words) and only time will tell, but we have enough about us to avoid the drop. It may well be tight, but we will be safe this year.
  14. I don't think it matters where Pasha is. I like the analogy, LOTR is one of my favourite film series. I now wonder if we throw Balajis bling into a volcano, whether this nightmare might end. Why on earth after 10 years do some of our fans still cling to hope? 1 win in 11 gets you sacked at every other club on the planet. Madness.
  15. Are our borders not closed.?
  16. TM openly admits he gambles with players fitness, despite Rovers having nothing to play for. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19171626.armstrong-comes-unscathed-rovers-gamble/ Your awesome TM, let's try and put both our most valuable players in the treatment room. 1 win in 11, it is all about saving his own skin. Pasha sack him ASAP, Rovers or Venkys 200m + investment is secondary to this guys own needs and desires.
  17. Perhaps daddy could give his son some pointers, as he is dog.
  18. All the best bradders, we await your return and hope your recovery goes well 👍
  19. The future has not been written yet.
  20. It will without doubt be a combination of both. Don't be so melodramatic with players will never play again, it's a big leap to go from cameos to 3 90s in 6 days. Were the rest of the team running around like they did in the 1st match? The whole team was knackered, fatigued, tired, however you want to term it and that's means you are more susceptible to injury, fact. Would resting him of made a difference? Who knows. We lost and had absolutely nothing to play for but are risking our main man. For what? Stupid choice, stupid risk and now rovers will pay.
  21. Seriously you start a response with bollocks? What sort of conversation are you hoping to inspire? As soon as I saw the team, I posted and even mentioned it.... Further to that I have further supported my statement with logical and well presented words, explaining why it could have happened. I have even citied previous examples of other players but apparently I am desperate and clinging on to anything. Come on, if you want to respond challenge my thinking, do not call me names etc. In debate that generally indicates you cannot counter and you lose. TM 5 points in 30, in the press talking about losing his job, Armstrong out, dack is our main man without him, he hasn't played 3 in 6 in well over 12 months and now he's out for a season. TM fears for his job, you think player's truly matter when Mr self preservation is backed against the wall? He'll be OK I bet he was telling himself, we need him, do we hell we are playing for nothing now. Winning yesterday was irrelevant to rovers but very for TM who thinks he is going to get sacked. Self preservation 1st,rovers & players 2nd, bloody obvious and now it has cost him dear. If you intend on replying with further 'bollocks' do not expect a civil response 👍😉
  22. To describe a situation without substance or examples and with conflict towards other people's timelines/statements. Lol.
  23. But that's the point. We had been cautious, sub apps 20-30 mins here and there, the odd start. These are bits and pieces, it is nothing full blown. And then bang, 3 90s in 6 days, the whole team was knackered from the off, everyone could see it. TM shifted from cautious to gone with the wind and now his ass has bite marks....
  24. Please don't Meghan Markle me, provide a link. Science is full of support for all angles as I wager I can papers that state the polar opposite. You have sumed it up yourself, you would have rested him,.... Not the 1st time..
  25. I feel like Chaddy. Impact injury or not, I wonder whether his knee would have coped had it not been subjected to its highest load since he returned. This is far from the 1st time we have had a player become injured again as TM plays them without thought of their condition. Travis, Williams spring instantly to mind. An ACL is serious shit, the tendency when it is your dominant leg that goes is for you to start using your non dominant leg much, much more. Ligament strength is developed over time, a long time and so this means your non dominant leg is placed under greater stress than it has ever endured. For the ligament to develop the strength needed will take years and he is no longer young ie his body growing etc, at his stage of life again developing the strength needed in his non dominant leg will take years, if ever. When ligaments are stressed/used far more than normal, they are weaker and this means when they undergo extreme stress like the clash with raya, they cannot deal with the impact like normal and snap. Overuse lowers ligaments strength and means they are more prone to snapping. It was a recipe for disaster from kick off. TM took the risk in playing him and unfortunately he lost, whether directly or indirectly TMs choices regarding players pitch time after serious injury shows he gets it rather wrong more often than not. Oh for the days of Fevre running our medical department.
