Their excuse/cop out will be that it's in case there are issues and a supporter needs to speak to someone in person. eg a failed payment. But as you say, we buy online at our own volition/risk. -
Stoke have offered free coach travel to away games for years.

That's the top and bottom of it. They didn't want to go to the expense of employing staff/opening the ticket office over xmas. Sod any customers who actually might want to buy something. The whole operation down there is pathetic. -

Message Wednesday, explain the diabolical situation, and see if they would offer tickets on the day. -

We've got to bring some goals into the side; we don't score enough, ergo we don't win enough games. Failure to addess that and we'll be nervously stuck around the bottom 6 for the remainder I fear. -

Solid point that, well played Rovers. Tronstad and Cantwell make such a difference to the side, class acts at this level. -

I was there that day and can still remember the coach driver telling us to seek cover in the aisle, moments before the windows went through! -

That line up will give most sides a tough game. Unfortunately though, we only have to scratch beneath the surface to see that there's not much more quality. It's why we are where we are in the league. -

Yeah I know, but anyone thinking there'll be much of a reaction this side of xmas will be disappointed. Hopefully there will be more comms post xmas to get the momentum going. -

Off pitch stuff aside, I enjoyed being on Ewood yesterday. It was a nice change walking back up LBR with a smile. We played half decent, deservedly won, and the paltry few in attendance got behind the team. -

The timing of it all is off for me. ie just before xmas, with folk on annual get togethers meeting mates and family at the match. The gate against Wrexham will be half decent, simply because it's the festive season. Before we know it, any momentum has been lost, let alone started. Should have waited until early January when people will be on natural downer. -

So, despite your protestations, you are boycotting in some way after all 🤣 -

This is my protest 'starting point' from Saturday. I never buy any of the tat from the club shop anyway, but will not be buying any more rip-off food/drinks from the kiosks. -

I'd suggest that after every home game, the Coalition put a statement out with the numbers, actual vs publicised. -

The Wednesday game will suffer from an 'organic' boycott anyway. After the Ipswich debacle when they charged folk again for the replay, a precedent has been set now and they'll have to do the same for the Wednesday game. This time, I reckon folk will just not pay it, a lot of ST holders will swerve it, and we'll see a lower turnout than was had against Oxford. -

I'm not suggesting that it shouldn't be respected, if that's what you're implying. The reality is that some people will attend Ewood no matter what, other people won't. The same as it was at Blackpool and Wednesday. Each to their own, it's a personal decision, whether we agree or not. -

Last season we had a decent side, this season we have a crap one. -

I think attendances aren't far off bottoming out anyway. My suggestion for the Coalition would be to publicise the true attendances on social media game by game. Even now, the attendance levels are such that a boycott is happening anyway. That would give good publicity. As for calling people 'happy clappers', my God, how embarassing. Some need to accept the fact that some folk will attend no matter what, it's what they do. A chap who sits next to me has been going on to Ewood since the 50's. As he once said to me, 'Ive been going for over 60 years, I'm too old to stop going now'. That should be respected. Me personally, I'll be there on Saturday, as I'm not letting people down who I've made arrangements with. Beyond that, I'll make a stand in my own way, starting with avoiding the concourse outlets and club shop. -

Quite a few regular ST holders who sit near me weren't there last night, I suspect that they had the same view as you. I pretty much had the whole row to myself. 8k tops on Ewood last night I reckon, and it'll only get worse.
