  1. It really grates on me when these supposed 'fans' refer to the club in question as 'we'. They haven't got a clue. Dickheads absolutely.
  2. We all already know what the answer to that question will be...the same as it is every game!!!!
  3. I agree with playing on the break, that seems to suit us more IMO. When the onus is on us to impose ourselves and make things happen, we just don't the quality to do that. Take today as an example; our forwards in particular were really poor and don't have enough about them to conjur up some magic.
  4. Even if they don't want to open the away ticket office, at least offer those 'digital tickets' they keep gaslighting us about. Ridiculous state of affairs.
  5. I'm obviously struggling to understand your original question ... 'Do you think he was good last season when we nearly went down?' It comes across that you're implying that Tronstad couldn't have had a good season, for the sole reason that we nearly went down. Hence my question back, which could have been about any other player. I used Szmodics as an extreme example.
  6. Interesting question. If you're suggesting that Tronstad couldn't have been good last season, purely because we flirted with relegation, then.... Do you think Szmodics was good last season when we nearly went down?
  7. Those end sections were netted off yesterday. Miracles do happen, it would seem.
  8. The only time I've heard him get stick in person was the other week when he couldn't be arsed to chase a ball down the bye line. Other than that, he gets nothing but encouragement, as they all do, and certainly at Ewood.
  9. With the injury to Pickering, unfortunately we have little choice but to play Hedges.

  11. An interesting quote from Jackson in his piece, don't you think? 🤔 "Todd Cantwell is far better suited to the number ten role."
  12. Why should they be shameful for merely letting a player go who they presumably didn't rate at the time? Players get released all the time and many forge successful careers at other clubs. That's just football.
  13. I think that after our recent great run, results will start to level out somewhat, especially if as reported, Travis and Pickering are out for a while. Travis will be a big loss whoever replaces him. With Pickering out, we have little option but to move Beck to left back. This is compounded by having to bring Hedges back in, so we lose some attacking threat down the left. 0-2
  14. Get people into the club shop to buy match tickets, and perhaps they'll spend on merchandise at the same time. It'll never catch on....
  15. We saw glimpses of Cozier-Duberry having a go at beating the full back in first half of the Luton game. Players like that cost a lot of money, which is why we are where we are with Hedges.
  16. I was down at the club shop yesterday afternoon. There was a steady stream of folk buying tickets for both Boxing Day and the Dingles. One person in particular bought 11 tickets for Boxing Day!
  17. Why only 1,500 and not the whole tier? What difference does it make? They don't half make some odd decisions down there.
  18. When the next man is appointed, we'll then know the answer to that question.
  19. My original question was asked of Chaddy after reading his statement '...the director of football will pick a head coach who suits what the club philosophy and ethos whether its bringing through young players or playing a certain way or keeping a team'. But anyway, seeing as you've jumped in.... In my opinion, the club has neither a playing ethos nor philosophy. They do have a strategy, which is to penny pinch at every opportunity to cut costs. One which is purely financially driven as you say, but not with any view to improve the club long term. They do not have a playing ethos/philosophy, however, which is what Chaddy was alluding to. If they did, then the playing style introduced under JDT would still exist. The playing style is IMO dictated solely by Eustace based on the players he has. His remit will be to 'make do with what we give you, we don't care about style'. Players aren't recruited based on whether they fit a playing style; rather because they're cheap. So all this talk of 'Directors of football, 'ethos', 'philosophy'... is moot in our case. It does goes to show though, that with the right manager, teams can be successful despite not having this 'modern' DOF claptrap.
  20. You think that Waggott is telling Eustace how to set the team up?
  21. Out of interest, who do you think is currently dictating/defining the 'philosophy' and 'ethos' at BRFC?
  22. Don't tell Chaddy whatever you do! An ex-Dingle in the blue & white halves? He'd never recover!
  23. There's no logical, strategic thinking behind any of their decisions. It's all for the here and now and doing the bare minimum. Any challenge is met with risible excuse making. Jokers.
  24. John Kettley is a weatherman, and so is chaddyrovers 😆
  25. We literally need to sell to survive, so any transfer business will be in the opposite direction. More likely to be a fire sale than any squad strengthening.
