That *was* the January Window

Moran is going backwards at a rate of knots. Sigurdsson has done little thus far to show that he's a reliable week in, week out Championship standard player. -

Totally agree with you there, he's done a lot of good things and I've not heard one single call for his head, put it that way. It doesn't mean that he's beyond critcism, though. -

It's more a case of people judging Tomasson on his own merits. -

Finally someone's called it out. All these comments about 'exciting football', 'getting me off my seat', 'identity' etc are wearing thin with me. The only football that excites me is winning football. Tomasson has done a great job in a lot of ways, but he has a massive achilles heel IMO. -

Opinions eh? There are several ST holders guys who sit near me, who go to every game home and away, are 'meh' when it comes to Tomasson. -

Even if we had any money, I'm not convinced that we'd recruit well anyway. Tronstad and Hill aside, our recruitment over the past 2 windows, under Broughton's watch, has been dire. -

It's the same story every chuffin' game. Our ability to see games out is none existant, it's sh!t or bust. Tomasson needs to learn to take a draw, but I don't think it's in him. -

It's not up to the supporter base to engage with him. Rather, it's his job to engage with us, the 'consumers', especially over something as fundamental as this 'digital' fiasco. -

What gets me the most in all of this, is not providing a grace period for ST holders to claim their own seat. As a ST holder, I find that insulting. As to the rationale behind this, my guess is that, as with the force to 'digital only', it's being done to alleviate the need to man the ticket office over the xmas week. ie a cost cutting exercise. -

That is true of Dolan to a degree, but IMO he's merely the best of a very bad bunch. -

Carrot and stick 101. Rather than offering the carrot eg 'buy a digital ticket and be automatically entered into a prize draw', they use the stick ie 'you have to buy a digital ticket or you can't come'. They've not got a commercial bone between them. -

The jury is out for me. I'm not convinced he has the bottle for week in, week out, English football. -

Exactly this. The reality is nothing to do with 'being green'. Bold claims will be made about how much printer ink and paper they've saved thus, reducing their 'carbon footprint', whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that they've merely passed the buck and the cost on. -

I saw this. As a ST holder who shelled out several hundreds up front, the very least they could do is offer me courtesy of a time period to guarantee my own seat. The guy couldn't care less. I'm in half a mind to not bother going. -

We need to stop the rot of home defeats. A win is what we want, ideally with a clean sheat, but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world. 1-1 -

I disagree. Up until 18 months ago, our whole squad - from juniors through U23s through to the first team - played a completely different style of footlball. The fact that they've learnt to play tippy-tappy since Tomasson arrived, proves that they are adaptable to different styles to some degree of success.
