  1. Khadra was a headless chicken. All fart and no poo. He looked good on his debut when he came on against Hull. Showed flashes of brilliance here and there but nowhere near often enough. He'll be an impact sub at sheff united.
  2. Hope so him Diaz and Gallagher. The way the team is interchanging, would be hard to play against. Three very different but affective attackers.
  3. If I had any faith in the owners reinvesting the money, when we got next to nothing of the Armstrong money. I'd say take 10-15 million and get three or four really good players. Have a real push at promotion. But I don't and as it's not my money. I'd rather him walk for free next summer. Stupid I know but you take him out the team and whoever we bring in. No matter how good will take time to bed in. By then we could've fallen away and although early days it just seems something really special is happening. We already need players in this to keep the momentum. We are taking the few chances we get in a game. Scoring some brilliant goals.
  4. Yeah four points from these two away games would be class. We owe sheff united after last season. Their manager is terrible but they've got arguably the best squad in the league.
  5. Yeah west Brom were silent for most of the game until they fluked that goal. That's the best atmosphere I've seen at rovers in years. Even when they scored and had that ten minutes of battering us. Usually heads would drop but yesterday was different.
  6. It's not even England's, it's boxing's but I have to agree I hate that we have jumped on the bandwagon. All the tv graphics have changed, new scoreboard and they have had a good clean of the actual stadium. We should have our own song.
  7. If anything I'd say he is already looking better this season than the start of last. I know he was scoring last season but he looks a different level so far, especially yesterday. I can't get over how good he is at carrying the ball. He is really awkward for defenders to stop aswell. I'd be tempted to as previously said keep him at the risk of him walking for free. Surely we'd have to break the bank for him to sign a new deal. Like 30/40k a week. Unless we insert a pay rise dependent on promotion and a release clause maybe.
  8. I couldn't believe when he just came on and that O'Shea flew past him to win the ball 😂. I think he did alright though him and dack. We needed to change something to get higher up the pitch and it worked. I think last season we draw or lose that game today. Everyone gave their absolute all. Even if they weren't having the greatest game. I said 2-1 the other day, more out of hope than actually thinking we'd win. Great goals and a brilliant result.
  9. Please let it get to half 12, so iam already at the pub before they call it off. 🤞🤞🤞
  10. I hope they haven't dropped this keeper by November. The way we're pressing and playing at the minute vs them playing it around at the back. Early days and yes I've had a beer. Wish we we were playing them tonight.
  11. Any premier league club looking to loan out their best prospects. Will see a great up and coming manager. Premier league standard training and youth facilities. A fairly good track record with previous players loaned, bar the odd exception. They know that if they are good enough and play well enough they will get game time. Surely outside of the relegated clubs and clubs with parachute payment's, we should be near the front when it comes to picking and choosing loan deals. Especially since jdt seems keen to give youth players more of a chance.
  12. 2-1 rovers. Gallagher to score.
  13. Think Burnley are just shy of a decent striker, to have a real good do this season. If they can get him they'll be up there this season. Let's hope it all falls apart 🤞🤞🤞
  14. Whatever people think about Carter he's certainly further along in his development than Wharton was at his age (Scott). He was on loan at a higher level last season then Scott ever was. It's absolutely too soon to write him off completely .
  15. One year deal, if he can stay fit and do well he'll get a move. Think eriksen last season with Brentford. VAN den berg? That's a third of the defender we all want back here.
  16. Im not entirely sure pal, just that it was handed in.
  17. Just a quick update my sister got her hand bag back 😂. Everyone can stop looking. Now back on topic great win, exactly what the dack and co needed to do. Give the manager a decision to make.
  18. My step mum is going to ring in the morning. Hopefully it turns up.
  19. Off topic but my little sister lost her handbag at the game tonight. A handbag you can't get any more either. Worth a post I suppose. 'So she enjoyed her very first Blackburn Rovers football match and coped well with the environment. On the down side she’s lost her handbag which means everything to her, last seen next to the picnic benches outside the rovers store. It’s of no value to anyone else, just full of colouring pencils and lolly sticks but she has autism and is really distressed she hasn’t got it 😞. Please share and see if we can reunite her with her bag 🔵⚪️⚽️❤️'
  20. Not every loan does they're all different. That's how we got stuck with an injured poveda for most of last season because we couldn't cancel the loan. Either way even if they had a recall clause, they couldn't for the first 28 days.
  21. The manager himself said in that interview last week there will hopefully be more players coming in. Still over three weeks until the deadline unfortunately. If we keep winning then there's less pressure to get deals done. Take the Morton transfer we were lucky we got it done. Because fast forward a week or so Thiago is out for six weeks. Meaning he probably wouldn't have come.
  22. Remember him smashing that goal in off the bar just as I was taking my seat last season. Do we need another centre mid though? He's class and I'd out him ahead of any of our current midfield but who do we drop?
  23. Lower fee higher sell on percentage surely for a potential dutch international. They've already brought in so much money this summer through player sales. Similar to the Armstrong deal I'd suggest. That's if they do actually want to sell. Yeah it means we lose a chunk of any potential profit we could make. But let's be realistic it's the only chance we'd have to sign him. If he gets us promotion along the way then that far outweighs the money Brighton would make.
