Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Upside Down replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This is an excellent idea and a great avenue to go down. The only way we can really have an effect against them is by constantly keeping the spotlight on them. They don't want the attention so let's give it to them. Highlight their ineptitude, their dodgy dealings, their lies, their reprehensible treatment of animals and the planet. We just need to make as much noise as we possibly can and keep it up. There's a real story there, if we make enough noise real journalists will start digging, reporting and shining a light on the situation. Let's keep up the pressure and make their position as owners of this great club completely untenable. Use all the tools we have. Protests, boycotts, sit ins, anything we can to draw attention to them and the plight of our club. -

Doesn't sound like a Rovers fan to me. A Dingle in disguise. At the end of the day no matter what happens, we know that the whole time we've been on the right side of this. Anyone who is pro venkys in any way is not a Rovers fan. End of. -

Venky’s v Indian Government (a)

This 'who would buy the club' shit really needs to be put to bed. Football club up and down the land are being bought and sold all the time. Not many of them have the historical standing in the game that we have, let alone the Cat A Academy. It's a total nonsense argument. We will find out who will buy the club when it goes on sale. I would help you if I sat in the JW but I was born a Blackburn Ender and I'll die a Blackburn Ender. -

What on earth could lead you to think we'd do something like that? -

I suppose that's it in a nutshell really. This has been going on for 13 years. The same things over and over and over. Suspicious characters, suspicious dealings, suspicious activity. The only constant throughout the whole thing is venkys. How anyone can think that our issues are caused by anything or anyone other than them is beyond me. The O'Brien debacle last year was as venkys as you can get. Scuttle the deal at the last minute then spend the next month and thousands of pounds lying and covering it up. -

Anyone who doesn't have that kind of money wouldn't be able to buy any club at this level. Fortunately your track record of predictions is as bad as venkys running of this club. -
Seriously, do you ever have an opinion of your own?

Pathetic really. How does every other club in this division survive without venkys? Take the chicken blinkers off. -

Been through through this a million times. It's a total nonsense argument. -

A sale is the best option for all parties concerned however, we know the stagnant pond in which venkys fester so it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see someone else of their ilk. On the bright side though, buying football clubs is in vogue and what better club to buy than one of only seven premier league winners. I just want rid. -

I know we're really shit at the moment but surely we've enough about us to put down a side from Division Four. -

Absolutely nothing like the 80s. Back in the 80s the club had ambition to be more that just about surviving. It was just in a struggling position. Now the club is deliberately in this position and looking to deliberately go down to the next league so it can be run even cheaper. -

There's been so much strangeness and at times a total inversion of reality over the last 13 years. I still think one of the strangest has to be how Tony Mowbray, a man with less personality than a pile of rotting sea weed, had such a massive personality cult amongst the fan base. I don't think I'll ever not be completely baffled by that one.
