  1. Depends what mood I'm in for me. We were playing Star Sail as a warmup song in rehearsals for a bit. That was bangin.
  2. The venky logos look perfect completely covered in shit. Sums them up to a tee.
  3. I'm sure there'll be some sort of mix up with the paperwork or he wants to move somewhere closer to his second cousin twice removed or some other bullshit.
  4. That cross was perfect. The most dangerous ball you can play whipped right across the six yard box, just slightly too far for the keeper to commit to coming out.
  5. And if you have someone up the pitch you can make the clearance much quicker as you can pretty much just hoof it. None of this fannying about waiting for the play to break
  6. Best band of the 90s.
  7. Absolutely agree with you there.
  8. You clearly have absolutely no idea how any company works do you.
  9. The football club equivalent of Baby P.
  10. To add to this: If you look at the position we finished in during the 80s were were generally in the top six. There were only three seasons where we didn't and one of those years we won a trophy. Playoffs were only introduced in 87 I think and we were in the mix on more than one occasion. We always ended up falling short due to lack of funds but we were always up there challenging to get into the top flight. This notion that we only got into the top division is because of Jack Walker is just some bullshit spread by jealous dingles and southern media who couldn't stand the fact that a small working class northern town was challenging the big city clubs. We were always knocking on the door and trying to get up there. In 1980 (I think) we would have gone up but for Preston being too shit to win a game. Only under venkys have we been deliberately relegated out of the top division and been deliberately prevented from trying to get back. @SuperBrfcmentioned this in a thread about a year ago and I think it is absolutely bang on. This club is too big for venkys and all their hangers on. Where we are is not our level, it is venkys bringing us down to theirs. Don't support them. Don't give them a penny.
  11. It's the middle of summer but I'll put the fire on specifically to burn it.
  12. This is exactly the kind of plan we need. An information war is what needs to be waged here. The facts don't lie.
  13. Otis Redding - Try A Little Tenderness
  14. Nobody knows if this will work until it has been tried. Unless you are willing to join in and give it a go to see if this will be effective then your opinion on the matter is invalid.
  15. They were really rattled by not hitting ST revenue targets down Ewood so the idea that they're not bothered about the lack of income is false because they clearly are.
  16. I've been boycotting for 15 years. A line has been drawn in the sand and it's time for fans to choose what's actually important. Is it going to watch a team, any team in any division, playing in blue and white shirts every week, or is it wanting an actual future for the football club they claim to support? I would suggest that if a fan actually cares about the past, present and future of this club, town and the wider Rovers community then they will back an organised action to try and remove the people from the club who are responsible for running the place into the ground over the last 15 years. Not backing these efforts tells me that you don't give a toss about any of the above things mentioned and don't have any real pride in Rovers or Blackburn. 15 years ago I was calling for a total boycott and I've stuck with that ever since. Venkys have never had a penny from me. I have had no part in subsidising their destruction of our club. I have always backed any efforts to remove them and always will. If that's taking "the moral high ground" then whatever. I call it having principals and sticking to them.
  17. So you're on the venky side then. Got it.
  18. Hahaha I'll give you a hundred pounds if he gets this in. A shot from the 18 yard line that I would have easily smashed in despite me being completely shit.
  19. I remember Souness getting a disciplinary of some kind after he asked "what can you do when the referee's a clown?" in a post match interview. With Val they were probably just completely baffled by how mental that actually was.
  20. They aren't Rovers fans. Simple as that.
