It's great that MPs are onboard with this. It's a huge issue for the town. The detrimental impact that venkys have had on the town both economically and in terms of our world wide representation are immense. This is much much bigger than just a bunch of football fans complaining about a shit team. This needs government intervention to protect all football clubs, not just ours, and the community that surrounds them. This is our national cultural heritage we're talking about here. Long term I think a coalition of many fan groups of many clubs is needed to force change on this issue.

The whole search for a CEO is likely to just be another sham media performance before they appoint Gestede as "no one else wanted the job". It is not as simple as them just paying a bond to send money over. There are both external and internal impediments to them sending over funds.
