We shouldn't have to wait for players to be up to speed. If you replace somebody then their replacement should be at the very minimum equal if not better. Last year we finished 7th. Anything lower than that can only be judged as a total failure. Since the club has absolutely no ambition to get promoted then it's all completely irrelevant. If the club isn't trying to get promoted then it has no reason to exist.

Tragic news this. He was a real man for coming out and being open about his struggles with mental health and the like. A real character and from all reports a top lad has been lost.

Never really got into Queen either although they have some great tunes and I can see why people love them so much as they were brilliant, just not my thing. Stevie Wonder I like some of his stuff. Peak was the three years or so before his accident. A group I never understood the hype about is U2. They're alright I suppose but I just don't get why there's such a massive love in for them. Maybe it's just thta the singer is such a massive cunt that ruins it for me.

Just jealousy and spite from everyone else who tried and failed to buy their way to the title and were shown up by a small town club from the North West. It all stems from the fact that Rovers winning the league was the absolute antithesis of what the Premier League was supposed to all be about. We played the big wealthy city clubs at their own game and beat them. Those clubs, their fans and the pathetic southern based media can't stand that. Since then we've had nothing but wealthy big city clubs win the title and year after year the game has gotten progressively worse and less entertaining. Real fans, the actual lifeblood of the game have been cast aside for a bunch of fairweather tourists who are more than happy to be fleeced to watch a football match. What's the end result of all this? Turgid shite. Yep I know, I went off on a bit of a tangent there but it had to be said.

The smart move for them would be to just make sure they're stable this season. Avoid getting dragged into the relegation scrap and that'd be a great success for them.

What an absolute load of bollocks.

The first record is brilliant, after that it's all a bit bland and boring for me.

Not really contradictory, short term enjoyment of a win but long term you know it means nothing. A bit like being thousands of pounds in debt that you know you're going to struggle paying off for probably the rest of your life, but you'd still be buzzing if you found a tenner on the street.

But the enjoyment is fleeting as even if we'd win every single game going into January we know that there would be some carnage created to sabotage the prospect of promotion or real success. I always enjoy when we win, and I think everyone else here does, but it's all a bit pointless in the long term. There is nothing to get excited about.

It's almost as though you've been paying attention to what's happening right in front of your face and you're not a complete fucking brain dead imbecile. A shame that others can't see what happening and just parrot club propaganda because they have absolutely no ability to form a thought of their own.

Plenty of people will buy it and those in power have summed up their total lack of brain power to a tee. It just makes it all the more unbearable for those of us capable of forming the most basic thoughts and being able to see what is right in front of our faces.
