What a surprise, Saint Steven's continued 'employment' discussed at length on BRFCS and within a few days he's been officially terminated. One would think that people at the club read this message board or something....

I've seen us beating the likes of Man United and Liverpool with the whole stadium rocking and they were still silent up there. Probably too busy stuffing themselves on strawberrys and cream.

I never said you were wrong about me encouraging people not to go. I do encourage folk to not give the regime their hard earned money for the reasons discussed. The top tier was closed by the club, therefore if you used to sit in the top tier then you were forced out of your seat with the option of either relocating or stop going. That has absolutely nothing to do with folk not going, that has everything to do with the way the club is being run. You say you didn't think I posted the picture, well evidently you did: Best you give this up now as it's getting almost as embarrassing as when you proudly proclaimed that you didn't understand what luck is. Also, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. You say you understand why people aren't going yet seem to look down on those who choose to not go. Just because you pay a small fortune every year to watch the games at Ewood doesn't make you any better or worse than someone who chooses not to. I don't care either way what folk do, it doesn't change the fact that giving money to the club subsidises the owner's costs. I chose nearly 15 years ago to not give them a single penny and I never have and never will. That doesn't make me any more or less of a fan than you or anyone else (apart from the venky apologists. Fuck those stupid cunts). The fact remains that seeing Ewood in it's current state is thoroughly depressing after spending many years there in its prime. When these criminals are gone, I'll be there to pick up the pieces with the rest of the Rovers faithful.

Where did I say that people were mad for going then? Giving your money to them is subsidising their destruction of the club. I'd go as far as to say that's fact, not just an opinion. You still haven't answered how I can take a picture and post it on here when I wasn't even on the same hemisphere as where the picture was taken. Also, show me where I posted the picture. One more point, why are there no fans in the upper tier?

From what I have been told, and I fully trust the person who told me this, the final straw for Saint Steven was the decision to relegate the Women's team. So even for an odious parasite like him, that was a bridge too far. Still, best keep him on the payroll for another 18 months just in case.

Note that only a couple of the players are wearing the Maltese Cross. @Parsonblue I can't remember exactly where I saw that report, I could well be confusing two different reports as I read a whole bunch around the same time. I should have saved the page I saw it on. One thing for sure is that I've never seen anything to say that the team ever wore a plain white shirt. As has been mentioned, just because it was suggested in a meeting doesn't mean it was actually brought to fruition. I do agree that the possibility of a football team being formed Christmas 1874 and playing a few matches before being properly organised as a club is the most likely scenario here. At the end of the day our blue and white 'quarters' (as they were referred to back then) are totally unique in world football. Why we wouldn't celebrate that on what is supposed to be the 150th anniversary season I don't know, but hey venkys/kentaro/whoever else has their fingers in the pie have decided to celebrate this occasion by deliberately relegating both the men's and women's teams.

I reached the point of not giving a fuck a while back so I'm actually finding a lot of this quite funny. What else can one do? It's so completely absurd. For anyone to say that the squad we have now is in any way equal or better than the already poor squad we had last year is completely and utterly ridiculous. As I said when he was appointed, this guy is totally irrelevant. The sheer level of ineptitude of the people who run this club just keeps reaching hilarious new levels week after week. Seriously, if you support or defend them in any way you are not, nor have you ever been a fan of Blackburn Rovers. Just go away and fuck your sister like all your other inbred Dingle mates/cousins/parents/lovers.

So like I was saying, I'd swap with Sheffield Wednesday any day of the week. There is nothing worse for a football club than to have it be owned (supposedly) by venkys.

Also other contemporary sources of quite possibly the first ever game played at Church which states that the team wore blue and white quarters.

I can accept the club failing and the team performing poorly. I can't and won't accept when those things are done deliberately by choice.

End of the day the only protest that will raise any awareness is one of two options 1. Total boycott - Not happening 2. Cause so much disruption that the game gets abandoned - Also not happening

No evidence to suggest that the team ever played in those colours though. The date of the foundation of the club is also up for debate.

I'd hazard a guess that it's the same clique as before, just a few new faces.
