  1. And the current one.
  2. Basically any players that didn't play for the 'big six' were underrated and didn't get the plaudits they deserved.
  3. These aren't the days of Alfred the Great, you can't just lop someone's head off and blame it on the vikings.
  4. Looking back now I wish my parents would have just got me mens size L back in the 90s.
  5. So in other words, fuckin hoof it lad.
  6. The Move - Flowers In The Rain
  7. I've got some different kind of stains on my clothes after seeing herbies post.
  8. Get a y junction for the pvc pipe.
  9. We never will be but fuck em. Premier League trophies won by Blackburn Rovers - 1 Premier League trophies won by Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, West Ham United and a plethora of other so-called 'big clubs' - 0
  10. As my dad would always say, United were trying to buy it for ten years before they actually won it.
  11. I had no idea Waggott was involved in organising the world cup as well. #we'vedoneallwecan
  12. "We've done all we can"
  13. It wasn't that ridiculous, he can definitely say with confidence that he feels disabled because for the head of FIFA to come out with that statement he must be mentally disabled at the very least.
  14. Happy Mondays - Kinky Afro
  15. Leads to more money in the bank accounts of the super rich and that’s what counts.
  16. None of them. Adverts can fuck off.
  17. Listening to this belter of a compilation that was hiding amongst my albums. All the tunes are interspersed with Timothy O'leary style musings between each number. No idea when or where I got this. I suspect it could have been another one of those £1.50 super dinds from the record exchange. Absolutely brilliant.
  18. Their anger is more than justified.
  19. The thing we should celebrate is that all the money was generated in the town. We weren't bankrolled by war criminals or oligarchs from abroad.
  20. Yes I meant as a town but didn't really word it well. We did have a benefactor when we won the league. He was a local lad who was a lifelong fan of the club and his business (the largest steel stockholder in Europe) was in the town. My dad worked there as did my uncle and so many other people who have been part of my life. So yes, we bought the league if that's what you want to call it, but unlike Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Leicester, United and all the others who tried and failed, we used our own money.
  21. I think every player we were in for they also put a bid in as well. Show me a team that hasn't spent money to win the league in the last 30 years. This isn't the 60s anymore and even then players were being sold for record fees. What the media and footballing establishment really hate about our Premier League win is that it flew in the face of everything the Premier League was supposed to be about. Wealthy clubs from big cities. We took them on at their own game and won. Much the same way as we did 100 years earlier when we became the first working class town team to win the FA Cup.
  22. I just want the never ending nightmare of the Venkys reign of failure to end. Sometimes you can get away with giving something a new paint job and a bit of a fix up. Other times you need to tear it down to the ground and start again.
  23. The Beatles - I Feel Fine
