The logic is to diminish the club more and more by dissuading as many people as possible from engaging with it. That's why tickets are priced the way they are and are also difficult to get hold of. They're deliberately trying to run the club into the ground. There's any number of reasons why this could be, possibly they're wanting to reduce it to as little as possible to make a quiet getaway now their financial scam has been rumbled by the Indian authorities.

Actually I believe it's quite contrary regarding the optimism of this forum. This is one of very few places that actually believe Blackburn Rovers are a long standing force within English football and deserve to be in the top division challenging for European spots. BRFCS is probably the only place you'll see genuine optimism about a post venkys future of this club. There may be some pessimistic takes on things as they currently stand because people on here actually pay attention to what's happening within the wider world and looks at the history of what's happened over the last fourteen years and counting. What a lot of people see as pessimistic doom mongering is actually just being realistic and not having the memory of a goldfish. Maybe death spiral is a bit of an exaggeration but our form does have a tendency to tank from February onwards. Seeing just about every team around you, especially the ones that have actual ambition, strengthening during the January window and the club you play for deliberately sabotage or deliberately underfund any potential transfers (not outgoings of course) has to have a detrimental effect on the playing staff.
