I understand card is quicker. But going back to my point is it not illegal to refuse cash? -

I'm not against card, nor cash for that matter but I believe merchants must accept both. Sometimes its convenient to pay with card, sometimes it more convenient to pay with cash. -

How can a stadium be card only? Is it not illegal to refuse legal tender i.e. cash? -

You're right. I literally have no recollection of him playing for Southampton before us. I thought we bought him after Chesterfield's 1997 FA Cup run in which he made a name for himself.. We actually signed him in 1998 not 1997. I just remember him being absolutely useless. -

Les Ferdinand was sold that summer to Spurs when Rovers were a far better team at the time. Kevin bloody Davies from Chesterfield I think was what we signed instead! Looking back at the mistakes from 1995 onwards it was a total facepalm of mismanagement from the top down. -

He was the consolation prize after Sven backed out of his agreement. I knew of him due to his time as Switzerland manager at USA 94. The talk at the time was he had brought the continental way to Rovers and changed the diet and training etc.. I remember his first season we were title challengers up until around Christmas I think and then it all went a bit Ray Harford. Just wonder what happened to go from that to relegation fodder and being sacked. Who else could we have got in that summer of 1997? -
Memories of Roy Hodgson's time in charge. Started off well and then went tits up. Any inside scoops on what went wrong?

Social Media is the worst invention of the 21st Century. I'm aware of the irony of posting that on here. -

Anyone else remember the old clubshop in the terrace house? It seemed like an Aladdins cave at the time. It moved to where the Blues Bar is now and then eventually to its current location. -
I heard that aswell but still doesn't make sense. Liverpool had only replaced Souness and had not come calling Kenny in early 1994. Roy Evans was doing well by the end of 1994/95 and that position was not available nor likely to be for a couple of years at least. By June 1995 Liverpool was not an option so why go upstairs of all things to sit on his ass doing nothing? He then goes and takes the Newcastle job in 1997! So much for Liverpool. Its just my hunch that Kenny didn't enjoy pressure and now there would be pressure of keeping BRFC at the top which he wasn't relishing. The other rumour I heard was when Jack Walker vetoed the Geoff Thomas transfer in August 92 he got the hump and decided to see out his contract and leave then. Shearer was always going to leave in 1996. Could see that coming a mile away. Once Kenny left it was curtains for the club being a top team. The only way top players come to a club like Blackburn is if you have a top and inspiring manager. Ray Harford certainly wasn't that. The only way Shearer would have stayed is if we had appointed a big name manager to replace Harford in the summer of 1996 and even then I'm not sure he would have stayed.

Can't speak for Chaddy but for me I'd have to pick ''The Best of The Beatles''.
