  1. A terrible transfer window resulting in starting clearly unfit Fleck who gets injured right away. In comes Garrett who is not ready to play at this level and then our opponents can play through our midfield with ease.
  2. Pathetic performance. We looked so sluggish. Outclassed by a relegation rival and no discernible game plan. After JRC went off injured things turned even worse, as Garrett is not ready to play at this level. Brittain was terrible. Chrisene also had a very poor game. Telalovic unfortunately seems to be a poor man's Chris Brown.
  3. Feel relieved about the performance and the result today! Refreshing to see some more direct football as well. All players deserve credit for a hard fought win. Huge penalty save by Pears. For being out this long, Hedges had very good game and didn't look rusty at all. McFadzean had a very good debut as well, looking like a strong leader at the back. Hopefully we can build on this. And let's hope Gallagher doesn't get injured.
  4. Surely Broughton has not been sacked simply because the owners doesn't want to pay compensation. Penny pinching is more important than anything else. Who needs basic professionalism? If it's true that he and his minions were celebrating this shit transfer window, then that's concerning.
  5. Rather the responsibility of whoever didn't sack Sylvester a year ago. That is unless this pathetic clown show was intentional.

  7. He looked better than he did against Huddersfield but his most memorable contribution was when some QPR player tore him a new one on the wing. Slows up play and doesn't look like he can offer much going forward. Still early days though, hopefully he can improve.
  8. There are quite a lot of pro-venky scum in the LT comments. What about this comment that I just saw on there: "Some of the stuff JDT has come out with post-match make his position totally untenable. Get him sacked and get a manager that can organise the defence and work with the budget he has, rather than the budget he wants. If it turns out that there has been a balls up with the McGuire transfer then, that's life mate, move on." He got quite a lot of likes for these words of wisdom. Feels unreal.
  9. Poor performance against a poor team and definitely deserved to lose. Expecting Moran to be an adequate replacement for Wharton is madness. The transfer window was horrible both short term and long term. Out of our january signings, O'Riordan is the only one who will be here next season. The squad is not one you would want to have in a relegation scrap. GB can just shut up and stay out of the spotlight. Pretending that this transfer window was a success just makes you sound like a devious snake.
  10. Disgusting to see the comments of some of those pro-Venky braindead buffoons on there. Terrific transfer window? Ungrateful JDT? Mind-boggling.
  11. Terrible transfer window. What a fucking surprise. GB: "I think the fans will be really, really excited to see him play.” Fuck off!
  12. Definitely a plausible theory. Just showing their contempt for the Rovers fans.
  13. Maybe Venkys are trying to make sure that the Wharton transfer gets done as late as possible so that they can trick some stupid happy clappers that they tried to strengthen the team but unfortunately there wasn't enough time. The money will of course not be available in the summer.
  14. Not convinced by McGuire although highlight clips obviously doesn't paint a fair picture of what he could offer. But if it's true that everything was agreed and we pulled out at this stage it's obviously a total disgrace. Not that we should be surprised considering our horrific owners. Even if we get someone in the building we should remember that the same clowns who oversaw the last january transfer window are still employed, ready to fck up once more. Best case scenario Wharton is staying. That would be great.
  15. I remember some on here previously wanting us to sign norwegian striker Erik Botheim. I haven't watched him play much. According to swedish media he will sign for Malmö FF after completing his medical today.
  16. Dropped from Coventry's starting eleven since late autumn after they had a shocking run of form. Since then they've been doing much better. Legs are gone.
  17. I hope GB doesn't spend these last crucial days of the transfer window calling all Premier league clubs begging to loan in warm bodies that can fill out the squad. I also hope we don't gamble on some striker from the german fourth tier or someone who is known to have major injury issues. (Of course those kind of signings are easier to pull off since 1)it's probably cheap and 2)most clubs at our level would probably not be interested in them) If we don't see signings that strengthen the starting eleven Wharton shouldn't have been sold in this window.
  18. Disappointed that Wharton is leaving. Desperately need to sign a replacement unless a big change in tactics is coming. Garrett and Buckley are not fit to lace his boots. Also, the mentioned fee is a bit disappointing for a player with Wharton's potential, but of course other clubs know that they can take advantage of our financial situation.
  19. Very worrying performance today against a very poor side. Lucky to not lose.
  20. As a Rovers fan it was highly satisfying to see Garrett's value increase today. Let's keep Wahlstedt in goal until his value increases.
  21. Sending out Travis on loan feels like penny pinching. Terrible. Let's loan some 18 year old dwarf to replace him on the bench.
  22. I agree that the Venkys slowly killing the club is the main problem. Our summer transfer window was pathetic. However, our xG has been higher than our opponent's for half of our matches. We are not consistently creating more dangerous goalscoring chances than our opponents. JDT has to take responsibility for choosing to play Pears despite so many poor performances. You cannot claim you're unlucky when you stick with an awful goalkeeper who predictably keeps gifting away goals.
  23. JDT's post match comments seem to be the same every single defeat. We must be so unlucky to consistently lose games where we "deserve more".
  24. Luton got promoted last season. Maybe the manager should consider the quality of his players when choosing tactics. Nevermind. I forgot that the results don't matter as we're just developing players now.
  25. Pears has been so poor. Hopefully he can have one of his good games on Sunday.
