Hope the EFL board can see how unfair it is to replay the match considering the red card and how little time there was left to play. Even playing the remainder of the game 11 vs 11 would be more reasonable than a full replay.

Not the best solution but definitely more fair than replaying the whole match. The best solution would be to just resume the match from where it was stopped. Pick whichever players you want as long as it's 11 vs 10.

I hope honest Val wasn't very honest when he called the first half of the Norwich match a "50/50 game". We created nothing and they were running through our midfield at will. We were lucky that Sargent wasted several good chances.

Still feels unreal that Gestede has managed to slither into a position of power. No experience. No credentials except for a playing career during which he showed how unprofessional he is when he refused to play for the club. This transfer window has been shocking so far. Our squad depth isn't good enough for us to sign an injured player in a key position and wait for him to get fit. We can't start Montgomery, for now he is nowhere near good enough and should not even be considered a bench option. Forshaw is past it and I have no idea why he was given a new contract. When we get more injuries our starting eleven will be extremely weak. We need to sign proven quality players but it won't happen because it's cheaper to just gamble.

Very poor performance. Bradford looked the better side. This squad looks so weak even now with only one important player currently injured. Montgomery is an awful right back, looks like an accident waiting to happen.

I think lack of quality when attacking is the most worrying part. I think West Brom will be a mid table side and we created almost nothing. We should have had a penalty but still didn't deserve to get any points.

With Cantwell out Gueye may start with Ohashi taking Cantwell's position. We really need to sign a striker and improve the squad overall. Don't think Henriksson will start since he just arrived. Really hope Henriksson can avoid injuries because his injury record is definitely concerning. Think he will be a good signing if he can.

Henriksson is a hard working, physical central midfielder who had a very good season last year. He can look a bit clumsy but is quite quick. He was also the most booked player in the whole league with 12 bookings in 26 matches. This season he has started 7 matches and has 5 bookings. A lot of these bookings are from late tackles. I think the main concern with Henriksson is that he's already had quite a lot of problems with injuries in his career. As previously mentioned, he also has Crohn's disease, which was diagnosed in 2022. Spring 2021 he tore his posterior cruciate ligament in training and missed the rest of the season. Last year he was able to play for most of the season, but this year he had some unspecified hip injury during pre-season and also missed a few matches recently because of a gluteal muscle tear. In an interview in autumn 2023 he said that Crohn's disease has made him more injury prone and that he cannot train as much as his teammates.

Think he will have to go abroad or to league one if he wants to be a regular starter.

I think I might have sounded too negative. He is an aggressive central defender who wants to win the ball back quickly. Can be overly aggressive and get pulled out of position. He is decent in the air. I would say he is faster than Hyam but slower than Carter. I'm not saying that I think he would be a bad signing, I'm just not sure if he is good enough for what we need (a regular starter to replace Batth). He is quite young for a central defender though, and could improve in the future.

Difficult to say since Allsvenskan is a quite poor league when compared to the Championship. The intensity is lower and the players have more time on the ball. Maybe someone like Hyam would be a dominant force in Allsvenskan, who knows? Rösler is definitely not a standout player like for example Ahmedhodzic was when he played in Allsvenskan. Rösler did win his previous club's (Mjällby AIF) player of the year award in 2023. Maybe he could adapt and be a good player for us. Malmö FF is a wealthy club and would probably want a big fee to sell him so I don't think it will happen.

Rösler is a solid central defender at Allsvenskan level. Reads the game well and decent on the ball. Not sure if he is good enough to start games in the Championship. Underperforming Malmö FF paid about 1 million euros for him a year ago. He is a regular starter for them and is likely out of our price range anyway. They are not known to sell players on the cheap.

Since GB left it seems that the club doesn't want to reward our best players with improved contracts since it reduces costs short term. Now one of our best players is desperate to sign for a club that finished below us last season.

Shameful that the club is actually known to do this.

Would be shocked if a Premier League club signs him. If those wage demands are correct he is nowhere near as good as he (or rather his agent) thinks he is.

The reported fee is ridiculous. Either it's not close to the actual fee or Rovers got fleeced. More likely that the club is leaking this information to make it look like they made a "significant investment".

For all we know maybe the Colorado manager told him that he has no defensive responsiblities. Hopefully he can perform well for us if we sign him.
