v Norwich City (a) - 7/2/26 - 12:31 k/o

I think it was a good save to get to it with his leg. He needs to make sure to cover the near post. Toth did have some other shaky moments though. -
v Norwich City (a) - 7/2/26 - 12:31 k/o

In the end it's very likely you will lose the game when you have zero shots on goal. For all the talk about building a fast and athletic team we sure have a lot of slow players. We never look dangerous when counter attacking. -

Ismael: -This squad is shit. We need quality signings to avoid relegation. Gestede: -Well, you previously said in public that it's stupid to suggest that this squad is weaker than last year's squad. Shut up and get on with it. Ismael: - I quit. Gestede: - Good. Then we don't have to pay compensation. -

What a horrendous appointment this was. And sacked way too late. -

https://www.getfootballnewsgermany.com/2025/st-pauli-prepare-to-shop-disaffected-bible-quoting-english-striker-oladapo-afolayan/ Not saying it would be a bad signing in isolation but it seems his club is desperate to get rid and his contract is expiring at the end of the season. Should be a cheap and easy deal to get over the line so why wait until the end of the transfer window? -
v Hull City (h) - 31/1/26

Hull looked poor today but they still had the better goalscoring chances. We had more of the ball and passed the ball around well at times but the quality and creativity in the final third was piss poor. -

Hull's injury situation is actually worse than ours. But despite the transfer embargo their squad is definitely stronger. -

Zero chance we were close to signing Cleary. And he is not even a striker. -

Makes sense. Same reason we didn't go for Baradji...oh wait. He really thinks the fans are stupid. Just fuck off.- 5420 replies

The January 2026 Transfer Window

The same amount of goals as Cadamarteri this season. Burgzorg has played about 1000 minutes while Cadamarteri has played about 2000. -

Cadamarteri would be so underwhelming. We are fighting against relegation and need someone to lead the line. Ohashi is not good enough to be a regular starter. Cadamarteri's goalscoring record is shocking. Yes he's been playing for a poor team but you'd still expect more goals since he has started most matches this season. Nevermind the fact that we are also a very poor side. I guess he'a being targeted because he's cheap and noone else is interested -
Valérien Ismaël: Former Head Coach
Inferi replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Getting so many injuries is not just down to bad luck. It's also due to an unwillingness to rotate the squad (because the squad depth is so poor), the high intensity (yet very ineffective) playing style as well as having several players who are known to be injury prone. Also let's not forget that there's some proper dross amongst those players currently out injured. -
v Swansea City (a) - 20/1/26
Inferi replied to simongarnerisgod's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
What a disgraceful performance that was. Made Swansea look like Real Madrid at times. They were so much better than us. Even though he is just a symptom of the disease Ismael has obviously given up and needs to be sacked tonight. -

Roverstv commentators just whining about the referee as if we would've stood a chance with a good referee. We've been so poor today and deserve nothing from the game. Gardner Hickman is shite. He runs around a lot and that's about it. -

Not looking forward to another another major surgery after the major surgery last summer when they butchered the body, left the disease intact, and stapled a smile over the corpse. -
v Hull City (a) - FA Cup R3 - 11/01/26
Inferi replied to davulsukur's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Forgot to mention that some of these players are miles off the required standard. We were so poor and struggled to even put a few passes together. Not that it's the players' fault, but still. We played an average team from the same league, not the Champions league winners. -

Not nice to see that Oliver Langford will officiate this match. He was shocking against Ipswich just one month ago. -
v Portsmouth (a) - 13/12/25
Inferi replied to Elrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It was terrible defending by De Neve but he should be even more concerned with the piss poor overall performance against one of the worst teams in the league. You can't expect to get a result while playing like we did today. -
v Charlton Athletic (a) - 27/9/25
Inferi replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
What a pathetic display. Struggling badly to even get out of our own half while 1-0 down against a poor side. A lot of poor performances but Tavares deserves a dishonorable mention. He is so lazy and/or poor defensively. When he is on the pitch the opponents tend to just run through our midfield at will. -
v Ipswich Town (h) - 20/9/25

I agree. The decision and the laughable explanation make the EFL look corrupt, spineless, and utterly devoid of integrity. -
v Ipswich Town (h) - 20/9/25
Inferi replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Hope the EFL board can see how unfair it is to replay the match considering the red card and how little time there was left to play. Even playing the remainder of the game 11 vs 11 would be more reasonable than a full replay. -
v Ipswich Town (h) - 20/9/25
Inferi replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Not the best solution but definitely more fair than replaying the whole match. The best solution would be to just resume the match from where it was stopped. Pick whichever players you want as long as it's 11 vs 10. -
2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂

During the 2021/22 season Ismael was sacked by WBA after 29 league matches. According to transfermarkt Gardner Hickman started only 6 of those matches and only one of them as a central midfielder -

Relying on Wharton as a regular starter now are we? Forced to play match after match until his body breaks down? Against Norwich it looked like he was running in quicksand. -
