Current Jordan Rhodes would be an upgrade on Dolan upfront. Maybe we should have loaned him instead of Thomas -

Really hoping Brereton can step up to prevent a disgraceful exit from the club. All poor performances will be forgotten if he fires us into the playoffs. -

We don't deserve anything from this game. Their keeper haven't been troubled at all. -

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
Inferi replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Wow. Surely it must be true if the sky sports commentary team says so... I could see why it could feel unfair to drop Pears. He has definitely performed better than what most of us expected. Many wanted to never see him in a Rovers shirt again after his horror show against Wigan last season. However, Kaminski is a better keeper and Pears recent performances should not be enough to keep Kaminski out of the team. -

JDT seems to think that bringing on extra defenders and parking the bus in games where the opponent is creating nothing is the correct approach because he got away with it in the beginning of the season. Of course it felt very dangerous even then, but often no damage was done. Disgusted that he threw away a win two games in a row. -

The goal should have ben disallowed but really poor tactics by JDT to park the bus so early and invite heavy pressure. Extremely poor performance by BBD again. -

Good performance by Hedges so far. Wharton showing his class too. -
JDT says that Wharton has a lot to learn off the ball. Morton is extremely weak off the ball so I'm not sure why JDT would be scared of playing Wharton instead.

Hoping for the return of Kaminski tomorrow! I don't think Pears recent performances have been good enough to keep Kaminski out of the side.

It has been very fun and unexpected to watch JRC become one of our best players.

Yes. Exactly what was needed. Instead we tried to buy Hirst but (thankfully) had to settle for a loan. -

For the most part a good performance today but disappointing to not win the game. Hudderfield were very poor but let's not forget they beat Middlesbrough and Watford recently. The game would probably have looked a lot different had they not gotten the two early goals. I hope the way that we played and the comeback gives the squad a boost for the crucial upcoming games. -

Plenty of time left and Huddersfield looks poor. If there's ever going to be a time to fight back from behind to win it this is it. -

v Swansea City (h) - 18/2/23
Inferi replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Results are what counts, but very negative tactics so far. Is JDT hoping for 0-0? We are playing Swansea, not prime Barcelona. -
A very poor performance against one of the worst teams in the league. As mentioned previously, the pitch looks terrible. Is this pitch standard compatible with the "project"?
-
Vale doesn't have enough skill to make up for his laziness. He looks like he's way out of his depth. I don't rate Gallagher but he is clearly a better player. Maybe JDT picks Vale sometimes because he tries to increase his value.

January Transfer Window.

If what Nixon is saying is true, surely there should be a chance for the O'Brien deal to go through? Imagine if we were required to pay a fee to Nottingham if O'Brien scores 5 league goals. Would the EFL send it back and ask for clarification about what would happen if he scores 5 own goals in the league? -

Just curious, why does the EFL require you to register a player's skin colour?
