  1. Not keen on the "stumbled" opinion to be honest. Kevin Gallagher said the same about Mowbray when we went on a good run, rather than hold his hand up give credit where it was due. It's like putting a win down to luck.
  2. Rovers Co commentator singled Hedges out for praise, rightly so.
  3. Didn't think we looked out on our feet at any point really, I feared the worst when Armstrong came on but we played out the last half hour comfortably.
  4. Cracking midweek away win, I'll bet they haven't been kept as quiet at home all season. Man of the match is up for grabs between quite a few, I'll give it Miller but couldn't argue with Hedges, Hickman or Yuki. Only time they had a look in was when we gave them the ball, something we must get better at. Three brilliant wins on the bounce, well done everyone.
  5. I actually thought that was the plan, we were playing for throw ins at that point.
  6. I actually thought that was the plan, we were playing for throw ins at that point.
  7. He missed a few good chances before he scored, keep getting in the right position and you'll bag eventually. Now he's found his touch, I'm looking forward to seeing him link up with Cantwell.
  8. Aye, I suppose that's the thing with stats. You can take them or leave them, but there are no preconceptions or favouritism involved, just the same criteria across every team.
  9. Looks like it's done on stats, can only assume he had better stats than any other forward. Hope he gets in again on Saturday.
  10. There's only one........ Simon Garner , come on Rigger.
  11. There's only one.....
  12. Gudjonson named in the Championship team of the week for last Saturday's games.
  13. Just seen that Gudjonson is named in the Championship team of the week for Saturday's games. Long may it continue.
  14. Not as eye catching, but the one against the post was the best, fantastic match winning save.
  15. Gudjonson did all that and more in the first half on Tuesday, everything good we did came through him, but you failed to see/acknowledge it. His ball for the goal had to be perfect, and was,but you didn't acknowledge that either. Major mistake taking him and Yuki off, thankfully Ismael learned from his mistake and left them on to see out the victory yesterday .
  16. No. But we've got the same people who've stopped going for whatever reason, commenting on how empty it is.
  17. I didn't think you posted it, I thought you quoted a post with the picture in it. If that comment isn't urging people not to buy tickets, then I'll let others decide. Top tier isn't open, only open for Dingles and Man United.
  18. "Essentially, if you buy a season ticket then you're consenting to Venkys destruction of the club. Just my opinion of course" We'll, you're opinion actually, beginning of the season ticket thread. Didn't take long to find, right at the beginning .
  19. In know why they're not going , but you spend all week telling people they're mad for going and urge them to stay away, then post a picture of how sad it looks. 🤦‍♂️
  20. As much as the subs made a difference, leaving the best 2 forwards on was probably more important. Big mistake on Tuesday taking them off,we went backwards badly after, it definitely influenced Ismael's decision today. Big goal for Gudjonson, quiet first half but his influence grew as the game went on,culminating in bagging the winner. Looking forward to him linking up with Cantwell now he's a few games under his belt. I was critical of Toth at Cov, but he's won us the game today.
  21. It's with people staying away.
  22. Wrong end of the stick. Would you go on their website and criticise those who still shop there? I don't like it when it becomes fan v fan, none of us are to blame, no need for it whatsoever.
  23. The happy clapper phrase raises it's head again. If Venkys do ever leave, and those that have stopped going do actually come back, we could always rename Ewood. I'm thinking we could call it The Moral High Ground.
  24. Said at half time that I wouldn't change the team unless I had to. This obsession he(and every other) manager has with making subs on 60ish minutes come what may, cost us last night. It's fine if you're bringing the likes of Campbell on, we aren't.
  25. He was the link in virtually every good move we put together including the goal, just why he took him off I've no idea, we certainly went backwards after he did. I honestly don't know which match you were both watching.
