As much as the subs made a difference, leaving the best 2 forwards on was probably more important. Big mistake on Tuesday taking them off,we went backwards badly after, it definitely influenced Ismael's decision today. Big goal for Gudjonson, quiet first half but his influence grew as the game went on,culminating in bagging the winner. Looking forward to him linking up with Cantwell now he's a few games under his belt. I was critical of Toth at Cov, but he's won us the game today.

It's with people staying away.

Wrong end of the stick. Would you go on their website and criticise those who still shop there? I don't like it when it becomes fan v fan, none of us are to blame, no need for it whatsoever.

The happy clapper phrase raises it's head again. If Venkys do ever leave, and those that have stopped going do actually come back, we could always rename Ewood. I'm thinking we could call it The Moral High Ground.

Said at half time that I wouldn't change the team unless I had to. This obsession he(and every other) manager has with making subs on 60ish minutes come what may, cost us last night. It's fine if you're bringing the likes of Campbell on, we aren't. -

He was the link in virtually every good move we put together including the goal, just why he took him off I've no idea, we certainly went backwards after he did. I honestly don't know which match you were both watching. -

Maybe read the player ratings in the telegraph, looks like he watched the same game as me rather than the one you'd decided before they'd even kicked off. -

Played well Gudjonson tonight, the one highlight. -

He had a good game alright, everything good we did came through him. Last player I'd have taken off. -

Missed another really good chance did Gudjonson, which I'm actually seeing as a positive. As the forwards union always say, you're more worried if you're not getting the chance in the first place. His movement in the box has been good enough, we need to persevere with him. -
That moral high ground must be full to bursting by now.

Don't know why anyone would argue that we played well first half to be honest. -
I didn't mention luck, luck is the football fan's get out of jail free card when things don't go how they predicted.

Some good signs today, bossed the form team on their own pitch, but it must be difficult when you've put so much effort in, then your keeper who's had virtually nowt to do lets one in like that.
-
Little point playing so well if your keeper can't make routine saves. Outplayed them on their own turf, a good performance wasted in one disastrous moment.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach

It tends to be extreme either way. There is either great joy at their struggles, or they're lauded for their time here for supposedly holding the club to account. -
Not in old money Chaddy. Got to admit I always consider 5 and 6 centre halves, as was always the case.

He posted that in reply to me, I said it would be interesting to see how many chances we'd created. Certainly against Stoke, we created loads of chances, it was the finishing which let us down.

I said could/should First half Hedges and Cantwell both had good chances from the left side of the area, and Gudjonson cocked up. Second half Kargbo could have had 3,Cantwell again shot weakly from a good position, and Ohashi had a great chance through the middle but didn't shoot and got tackled. That's just the good chances from memory, there could be more.
