  1. You're pretty much describing 5 years of Mowbray there, yet he got away with barely a murmur of discontent. Hence my question.
  2. CB or DM I think I read when he arrived. He's not a FB. I presume he was played there because there was nobody else. At least I hope that was the case. Mowbray didn't exactly leave a group of decent FB's behind.
  3. It's strange how Mowbray got 5 years and not a boo was heard, but JDT has been here barely 6 months, has us 3rd (Still 3rd🤣, forever 3rd!) in the league, and apparently the fans are about to turn. All very odd. Is it the performances, or is it just a general dislike of JDT?
  4. Mark Hughes reacts after reuniting with former Blackburn Rovers man at Bradford City | Football League World Matty D has signed for Bradford. He's 36 now. I feel old!
  5. When was the last time you saw that at Rovers?
  6. I seem to remember Robbie Savage being quite petulant, and EH Diouf. But yeah, lets all hate on mild-mannered Buckley because people are upset cos he got sent off.
  7. As Vera Lynn once nearly said, there'll be Bluebirds over the Blue 'n' White shirts of Rovers.... We desperately need a win or we are officially in a Mowbray death spiral territory. Cardiff have drawn their last 4 and haven't won in 6. Rovers 2 Cardiff 0 COYB'sssssssssssssss
  8. That's not true though is it.
  9. Mowbray didn't sign Nyambe.
  10. I'll take the positives. They signed a better RB and better CB in 5 weeks than Mowbray managed to sign in 5 years.
  11. Fortunately JDT recognises not only his talent but also that he's got a lot to learn. It was reassuring to hear he won't be throwing JB under the bus. I think you're exaggerating his petulance is comparison with every other play that has played for Rovers in your time watching.
  12. Unfair to judge them on the summer. They were playing catch-up. Most clubs have their targets sorted by spring. We didn't have a manager or DOF until June.
  13. The referee went to Carr Hill school, lives in Freckleton. Rumours of him being a Nobber. His brother played for B'pool. Bit too close geographically for comfort really.
  14. Need a couple of players to come in and make a big difference in January. The team needs freshening up. A goal scorer is a must, as is an experienced head in the middle of the park who can dictate play.
  15. Is that true? Sounds utterly bizarre the club would stop him getting a ticket.
  16. Well, the early season luck has certainly run out, form has fallen off a cliff, and we no longer hold on to leads. First real test for JDT. We'll see if he can halt the slide in a way Mowbray never could.
  17. Day after Forest game he was back 'on the grass' training for the first time since his injury, so probs still getting up to speed.
  18. That's a lovely image at tea time. Thank you🤣
  19. Well, we're doing a lot better than most of us predicted! Same question for the 2nd half of the season: Based on what you've seen so far, what position do you think we'll finish in at the end of the season? Options: 1st -6th 7th - 13th 14th - 20th 21st - 24th I'll go 7th-13th....
  20. Scary innit! The football's shite but being 3rd sets us up nicely for the 2nd half of the season. It's better than being 3rd bottom.
