27 years later.....we've played the long game to get revenge with a flukey goal of our own... -

Not watching but Sharpe saying Buckley having a good game. BBC praising us for the work we're putting in to stop Norwich playing. -

Just wondering what the reaction was? Maybe AW needs new representation if his current one is stepping out of line. -

As in his agent? What did he/she do? -

Ha....well, we were 12 minutes fannying-free so it's a start! -

We've got too many 'nice' players who are technically gifted but lack both experience and fight. Whether the lack of 'fight' comes from the manager is debateable but that midfield especially lacks an old experienced head who can put his foot in. Buckley/Morton Wharton/Morton Buckley/Wharton all worry me as partnerships as they don't offer much protection to the back 4. Burnley's midfield today was Cork/Cullen, both very experienced pro's. I guess that's the price of a 'project' that is required to polish up raw gems and get results at the same time. -

Factually incorrect. I've just explained why you are, can you explain how I am? All I said was he's changed half the team which is what everyone wanted. People also want us to stop passing about at the back. That's 2 things that people want that aren't mutually exclusive. -

Yeah, that as well, but this thread shows people wanted half the team dropping. Let's not re-write history. -

Agreed. Not sure what else he could do, apart from Bucko or Travis at RB, but they are both shit there if we're honest. As is JRC. Like you say, a thin squad. -

A lot of outrage for just one player. So you agree with the rest? -

Strange criticism of the selection. He's changed 6 players from the capitulation against PNE. Is that not what everyone was asking for? JRC's at RB cos there's no-one else fit - Cater and Brittain both injured. Good to see Buckley back - I'd have dropped Morton rather than Travis but there you go. -

Just watching Norwich batter Nottm F on the Big Match Revisited from 1975. Just one of many portents of doom ahead of our visit to Carrow Road. For that reason I think we'll win. JDT, tactical genius, re-born at Christmas. -

Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

Fine. You're writing him off based on U21 games. I'll wait to see him in a few first team games. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach
Sweaty Gussets replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Saw him on his league debut. He was clearly unfit. JDT mentioned he's not had the same pre-season as everyone else. He scored in the friendly in Spain so hopefully he's up to speed now fitness-wise. He will hopefully be given a chance to prove himself. If not then he goes back and we don't have to buy him. Bit silly to write him off though when he hasn't been given an extended run in the side. -
January Transfer Window.

Blackburn Rovers transfer latest as six players made available for January moves - LancsLive Pears, Markanday, JRC and Edun all up for grabs on loan in Jan. -

They have got players to win games now - BBD, Dack, SG. They also need to build for the future. Hopefully Hirst will get a chance to prove if he is good enough before the end of the season. That means a consistent run in the team. -

P11 W4 D0 L7 away from home this season. Bizarrely, we haven't scored in any of the 7 games we've lost. Fair play to those Rovers fans that keep travelling to watch that. They deserve better. Hopefully they get an early Christmas present at Norwich.
